Bageecha
It’s the most peaceful & pleasant place I’ve stayed till date. The place gives you those chill vibes with a scenic view from the Deck.
Bageecha is a home, away from home for me now. The host welcomes you with open arms and makes you comfortable to settle in as soon as you arrive with there refreshing Welcome drink (Homemade & Natural Kokam Juice). Total refreshment.
The second most important is the food they serve. AMAZING. Just amazing. You would regret if you didn’t tried the food. The most soulful & delicious homemade food I’ve tasted on a trip.
Kudos to Akshay & Aditya for hosting us at Bageecha, we would forever cherish the memory we have taken back with us.

Quite location.

Always got low tide.
Kashid beach is over crowded and has jelly fish which sting.

When I was driving here the GPS diverted to a entrance to the beach is not commonly visited by tourist. The entrance is through a small lane beside large bungalows. Thus I entered through a narrow patch and I found a few people sitting and drinking under the talk trees present just before the beach. Infact I also found quite a few drunkards and thus I am not very sure if you want to visit here with family. Else ask locals and stick to the main entrance of the beach.
The water recedes quite a bit during low tide and thus such beaches are quite shallow and good to take a bath during high tide. I could see a lot of boats parked on the beach too from the side I entered. However to me it looks isolated and thus am not sure if I would want to visit here unless in a group

During low tide, The water was farther than usual. Kids had to walk for a long distance.
But one consolation was that my kids could see sea anemone and shrimps

Akshi beach is one of the best beaches of Alibaug. Water is comparatively better then other beaches. Not much of rush as other beaches. They dont have any sports activity on the beach, all such activities are available at Nagaon beach which is hardly 2 kms. from Akshi, hence you get a good silent feeling. Need to carry your own water bottle and snacks as it dont have any stall nearby. For birding this is the only beach in Alibaug with various species of birds, viz. Brown Headed Gulls, Lesser Black Backed Gull, Capsian Terns, Lesser Crested Terns, Common Terns, Whiskered Terns, Greater & Lesser Sand Plovers, Ruddy Turnstones, Terek Sandipipers, Common Sandpipers, Little Stints, Egrets, etc. If lucky you can even get Oyster Catchers.

Nothing great about the place, can go and visit for once incase you are open to divert from your journey to Naigaon or Kashid beach.

Tides keep pumping out the residue of used petroleum dumped into the ocean by commercial boats. So, it is not safe for your skin to walk across this beach. There are other beaches nearby, which are clean and safe like Alibag Beach, Varsoli Beach, and Nagaon Beach.

the beach attracts many tourists as it has many scenic beauties & a lot more to visit.the evenings are greta here the place is good for couples tooo.

Along with sea shore one can also find tiny farm houses of families from nearby metro cities like Mumbai, Pune etc. as second home.

Akshi is a nice and calm place to be. No crowd. Go with family and spend time bonding with each other.
