A fine tour of apartments set high above surrounding area… plenty to see, including the drawing room where the six-year-old Smetana is said to have given his first performance.
Lovely area and improving all the time as Czechs are clearly committed to restoring their finest monuments and are making the Castle and surrounds a ‘must see’.

Das Schloss wird von Grund auf renoviert dies wird noch gut 3 Jahre dauern. Die Zufahrt ist durch Sackgassen erschwert, fahren Sie einfach drauf zu, die direkte Schlossumgebung ist voll mit Autos. Es lohnt keinen Umweg.

The castle itself is closed during winter months, including the information center. The gardens are still open and for free from certain hour until certain hour. I recommend to check everything in advance, if it's important for you to see this UNESCO heritage castle.
It seems that some public events are organized at the castle's buildings. Me and my friend ended up at astro-weekend spontaneously, since there was nothing else much to do during November.

È stata una piacevole scoperta. In una piccola città di Cechia c'è questo vero gioiello. Il castello è ben conservato. Dentro ci sono dei mobili d'epoca. Si può visitare solo con una visita guidata in lingua locale. Mi è piaciuto molto il teatro che c'è sul pian terreno. Il parco del castello non è molto grande, ma carino.

Приятный замок, снаружи весь в сграффито, можно ходить вокруг и рассматривать картинки бесконечно долго, особенно в хорошую погоду.
Внутри замка предлагают две экскурсии, в любом случае много ступенек, с детской коляской не походишь ...

Zámek má otevřeno denně ,což je výhoda ,sice sklepení ,které k tomu patří má pondělky zavřeno-škoda.

Během nasi dvoudenní návštěvy Litomyšle jsme samozřejmě zavítali i na zámek, krásne udržované zahrady i nádvoří. Za zmínku stojí i stálá expozice soch Olbrama Zoubka.

The castle is really beautiful, the facade decorated with sgraffitos is stunning. In the inner part around the courtyard there are two floors of arcades and when you stand there, you feel like you're in a fairy tale. The castle is surrounded byl large park and french garden.
You can take a guided tour of the interiors which takes about 50 minutes. The entrance fee is 160,- CZK and takeing pictures without flash is allowed.

このリトミシュル城は旧市街地の北側にあります。館風の城です。内部は公開されています。ただツアーでの公開です。庭園や付属の建物などもあり見どころがあります。

Unusual Italian designed palace in Czech Republic in this tiny town which is quite charming in itself.
The palace has this beautiful exterior done in stucco call 'strafiti' which has a unique design in each tile.
The interior is nicely furnished and worth a tour or two to see the entire second floor and chapel. But it will take over 2 hours.
