I ordered some toys online for my daughter, and wanted to make sure they had the right colours. I emailed them, got a reply the next day. Fantastic people. They were happy to help, and very professional!! I even got a lovely note in my package!!! It was for my daughter with ASD!!! The toys were of great quality and exactly what I wanted!!! Thanks again Geppetto’ s workshop!!!

I wanted to treat my 4 year old and teach him about money by giving him a few notes to spend on a toy of his choice. There are no price tags on the shelves, only small inconspicuous tags on the boxes. As soon as we picked up a box to check the price we were met with a very discouraging shop assistant who requested that we get her assistance with pricing because if we damaged the boxes they would have to mark them down...
Go here if you're an adult tourist shopping for a gift, or a sentimental adult wanting to visit an old fashioned toy shop. Sadly I wouldn't recommend it as a fun place to shop with a child.

This corner store is masquerades initially as a quintessential 'little' store of treasures. The inside is not so little, but definietly brimming with treasures. Toys of yester-year take pride of place (marionettes, puppets), fashioned from materials that even grandparents can't fault (sturdy splinter-free wood, tactile felt ..). These sit next to today's toys, with the requisite ratings for creativity and scientific integrity. Oh, to be a child again. Well worth a visit for the young, creative, and young-in-spirit. Let it soar.

Thanks so much for the effort you put into your review. It's very nice to hear because it reflects the very reason we choose what we choose and how we operate. We choose things that make us"feel" something. We choose things that you put in the "to keep" box for your grandkids ... not the op-shop. Thanks again. Dion

Nice for a look....the toys weren't my style but if you're looking for something a bit different, try here! Touristy shop, prices to match. Don't make a special trip but if you're already wandering around the shops pop in for a look.

As the title says, never been to your shop but the Harlequin marionette I bought was amazingly real and perfect.

Hello! Sorry, but that artist stole a lot of money from me so I'm not willing to order from him again. All of a sudden he's "not speaking da English" and not giving me our money back ... so I can't get stock. Nice work but awful man.
We're getting a large delivery of marionettes in 4 weeks so perhaps call me then on 03 9755 3300.

Very friendly and welcoming quality toys from around the world. Prices are what you would expect. Very touristy on the weekends. Overall if your looking a quirky gift it's the place to come

Very cute toyshop with an assortment of toys for all age groups, cute and quirky little shop with a friendly atmosphere with a great variety and range of toys for all age groups.

Some beautiful toys for kids of all ages. A bit on the expensive side...

I stopped by to buy some souveniers to take to Argentina. Interesting items and a very lovely service. If you want to visit a shop and feel like home, go to Gepetto's.
