Again like the anti fascist military display, it's a nice stop on way to the grass lands. It's amazing to see that the great Chinggis Khan nearly conquered the world when you see the extent of the territories he ruled over. Recommended.

很可惜，我们到达海拉尔已经天黑了。吃完火锅，快九点了。本来想去成吉思汗广场看一会儿当地的广场舞，但是显然来不及了。只能在打车回酒店的路上，让司机带我们绕行一下。
在路上是看不到什么的，因为整个广场三面都被又高又直的树挡住了。只有开到成吉思汗雕像那一面才是空旷的，只能远远看一下，手机拍不出来。

在个阳光普照的下午到了成吉思汗广场，听向导说了成吉思汗及蒙古军队的故事，广场宽敞铜像造的不错，还有小朋友在放风筝。 逛完后到了旁边的诺敏塔拉奶茶店吃了现炒奶茶和手抓羊肉，太赞了

We were lucky enough to stay in a hotel just across the street (Tianjin hotel). It is a small place with nice sculptures of fighters on horseback. What you would expect from the Genghis story.

We asked the taxi driver to stop at this square for a few minutes on the way to the airport. My son wanted to take photos of the tall statue of Genghis Khan on horseback and the other statues of the Mongols on horseback. There is a beautiful grassed area with red flowers in front of he main statue where locals take photos. We visited in the middle of the day, when there were few persons and it was very quiet. The locals advised that the best time to visit the park was in late afternoon. Admission is free.

A wonderful place for children, with boats for the water and stands selling interesting sweets and toys.
At the edge there is a fairly permanent looking small theme park, but we've never seen it in action.
The Genghis Khan sculptures are very impressive.
At the edge of the park is a river, and a large fake rocky mountain, which is fun to climb and has a nice view. There's also a park which is nice to walk around.
Hailar is not a particularly pretty city. This is an exception, well worth a visit.

The Square And the magnificent sculptures are wonderful and certainly create a compelling atmosphere. It's just such a strange thing to have such an inspiring monument to honor the memory of someone who inflicted such brutality across the greatest land empire in history.

三月份刚去的时候，穿着还是羽绒服，棉鞋。广场上白雪覆盖，还有大大的雪雕，久久不融化，彰显本地的文化，这里的人们比较注重文化，特别热情！短暂的旅行舒缓心境！

the Genghis Khan Square is very popular indeed for many locals as well as tourist alike. food stalls and also many kiddy rides available for a small fee. next to the Square is a Shopping Complex where you can visit to top up on your drinking water as well as some groceries. The Square itself is huge and sunset can be pretty stunning. This attraction is also sometimes known as the Chinggis Khan Square.
