The Ao no Terrace, which overlooks Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay, was amazing. You can enjoy the view with delicious snacks. The walnut miso dumplings are also very delicious, the azaleas are in bloom, and there are some playground equipment for children to play on. You can visit the shrine and walk to the summit. It's great on a nice day, but it may be a shame if it's cloudy.

Now let’s share how to get there from Tokyo!
(takes approximately 2 hours)
①Take the [Tokaido Sanyo Shinkansen] from Tokyo Station to [Atami Station]
②Transfer to [Tokaido Main Line] to [Mishima Station]
③Transfer to [Izu-Hakone Railway Shuzu Line] and arrive at [Izu-Nagaoka Station]
④ Then transfer to the bus to [Hot Spring Station] and then walk for 8 minutes to the cable car station at the foot of the mountain!
The round-trip fare for adults on the cable car is 2,500 yen
Before going up the stairs to the cable car boarding gate
You can go to the underground gift shop to buy local souvenirs.
If you haven’t purchased your tickets online, you can also purchase your lift tickets here!
The total length of the cable car is approximately 1,800 meters.
You can see the street view of Izu Nagaoka Onsen, Mount Fuji and the scenery of Izunokuni City
The weather was good on the day of our visit.

Once you reach the top of the ropeway, there's a cafe, a shrine, an observation deck, and a spectacular view of the mountains below.
Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day so we couldn't see Mt. Fuji clearly, but the view was still spectacular.
There's Katsuragi Shrine, a garden, photo spots, and more, so it was a great place to relax and unwind.

You go up by ropeway, but it's expensive. It was also quite bumpy and scary for me, who doesn't like heights. The ticket comes with a postcard that you can post at the top, so it will be a great memory.
It must be beautiful if you can see Mt. Fuji, but the day I went was hot and sunny, but the clouds made it impossible to see at all.
There is also a foot bath, and since it was summer, it was water, which felt really good.
There is a water lounge, which you can use if you order one drink. There are about 10 seats, two for each person. Each group is limited to 30 minutes. I was lucky to be able to enter without having to queue. I was glad I could enjoy the view at my leisure. After I sat down, a huge queue formed.

I visited on a trip. I had known about it for a while, but this was my first time here. The mountaintop is designed to be enjoyed by both adults and children, with a ropeway, observation deck, shrine, bronze statue, foot bath, and athletic field. Some foreigners brought their own lunch boxes, but you can also get takeout from the restaurants at the top and base of the mountain, so it might be nice to enjoy the view while eating wherever you like.

他では見られない風景の『碧い』『富士山』と、おしゃれなカフェ風の飲食コーナー、等々が心に残る場所でした。無料サービスのポストカードは、後で出してくれば良かった、と残念だったものの、なにげに行って正解だった上、また行ってみたい場所になりました。ケーブルカーは見た目から、グラグラ心許ない印象なものの自動ドアになっていたり、そんなに側から見るより古くないかなという印象で、グラグラ感を逆に楽しめました。風が入り気持ち良かった。座る場所の周辺に手すりがあると高齢者やお年寄りの方にも安心だと思いました。

ロープウェイの山頂駅を降りると山頂エリアに着く。この山頂エリアには
碧テラス・展望デッキ・茶寮・アスレチック広場・山頂展望台・葛城神社・足湯等によって構成されている。
しかし皆がよくいく場所は碧テラス・展望デッキ・茶寮でないかと。
私たちも碧テラス・展望デッキ・珈琲と山頂駅付近をウロチョロ。
展望デッキに行くと目の前に富士山がドーンと！天気が良くてよかった！！
碧テラス、イメージとしては水面に浸かることが出来、そこから富士山を望む的なイメージであったが違った。
富士山を望むことはできるのだが青いタイルにサッーと水が載っているだけ。なのだが、その青と空の青が一体となりそこに富士山。
プラス白い雲もありかも。普段では見ることできない画面が目の前に広がる。
まさにパノラマビュー！！

若い頃に行った記憶とは全く違う❗️今どきのキレイな場所に様変わりしていました。
冬の晴天に恵まれて、富士山と駿河湾の絶景にカンドー。素晴らしい眺めです。それほど期待していなかったので、嬉しい驚き。
おススメします❗️
ただ平日にも関わらず、アジア系の観光客がめちゃくちゃ多かった。箱根はわかるけれど、伊豆にもこんなに来るんだ〜と、こちらもビックリでした。

初めて0歳児の子供を連れて旅行をし、訪れました⤴︎
少しビックリしたのが、たまたま時間帯のせいもあるのでしょうが、チケット売り場に長蛇の列が....
ただ、ゴンドラから見える景色は絶景で是非8分間楽しんでもらいたいです！
もちろん、頂上から見える景色も素晴らしいです♪残念ながら、飲食店は限定されたものしかないので、行く前にしっかりと食べるのがお得かと(^_^;)
あとは、ベビーカーで移動できる場所も限定されているので、抱っこ紐での移動がおすすめです！
季節によって景色を楽しめる場所なので、また違う季節に来たいです⤴︎

ロープウェイに乗る時に多少の階段はありますが、2階まではエレベーターがあります。私も足の悪い母と84才の父を連れて行きましたが、問題なく観光が出来たので、大丈夫だと思いますよ。
