This isn't a review of the actual experience but of the process trying to book and being let down 2 days before a party.
I entered an Instagram 'like and share' event and was sent a £200 voucher for Bedlam Paintball to be used at any site.
I called the main number and spoke to Chris Rock. We discussed the packages and prices. I then said I would go away and get a date sorted and email him my information.
My son decided on a party of 7 and when I looked at the packages pointed out on the voucher, I beleived that it would cost me £210 (£30 each for 300 paintballs) minus the £200 voucher.
I emailed Chris with those details, and was sent a generic email back saying thank you for your booking, you have £0.00 deposit left to pay. This was in November.
I then emailed Chris again on the 2nd or 3rd of January asking him to confirm that everything was OK for my booking on the 6th as we had informed all the kids and their parents of the details and needed to iron out who was driving whom ect.
I received no response via email asking for confirmation until the 4th when I received a text and email telling me my booking was cancelled.
When I called I spoke with Chris himself, who advised me that my booking was cancelled as I hadn't paid for my paintballs. I was confused as I beleived the voucher covered the whole package.
He proceeded to advise me that I was wrong, and that the voucher was for entry only (£15 a head) and that I owed £180 for the ammunition.
When I had received my confirmation booking it clearly stated I had nothing left to pay, nor did I receive an invoice or instructions about additional payment on the day.
When I brought this up to Chris he told me that only him and his brother own the company, and that it was his brother who made the voucher himself, and that I was completely wrong. He then asked me to make a payment of £180 to reactivate the booking. When I said I didn't have the money to pay it he didn't stop trying to tell me why I was wrong. I ended the call by saying that I couldn't pay it and he said he would see what he could do.
He then called me back explaining that he had listened to the phone call and confirmed that I did know about the voucher not covering the paintballs and offered to send me the recording. (I havent received the recording yet). I explained that my email clearly shows that I understood the voucher to include the package and that him not responding to that email detailing my invoice led me to beleive the voucher covered it. That and the fact I got an email back saying I had nothing to pay.
Eventually, we ended the conversation as I felt we were going in circles as all he was trying to do was tell me I was wrong and not seeing my point of view. I suggested he learn from his mistake, ensure the wording of the next voucher was more understandable and that was the end of it.
I then received an email a few minutes later from Chris offering me £140 worth of 'free upgrades' however the price went up from £180 which he originally quoted on the phone to £210!
To be honest even if they offered to honor the voucher now I wouldn't bother going. I wasn't aware of the bad reviews but they make sense now.
It's my son who I feel sorry for, having to go back to his friends and say they can't go because his mum can't afford the extra £180 the company demanded 2 days before the party is downright embarrassing. If it had been any other month I would have probably caved and paid it too which makes me wonder how many other people have done this.
It does also seem suspicious that they cancelled it 2 days before yet I have had zero emails from them in between - almost like they realised it was a voucher party and that they'd made the mistake and couldn't afford the hit. Chris did explain that he had tried to call me and left a voicemail however I get no service at work so I predominately use email which I had used to try and contact them a few times with no joy.
So. I wish I was reviewing the actual experience but sadly we didn't even get that far.

Where do I start….. waiting for close to an hour before actually seeing a gun. Safety brief was non existent . No idea why the staff had a meeting before every conversation with the group.
We were advised a horse died. Lucky horse. Decision making was clearly done on the spot and game mode the produced out of thin air with no logic of thought. Genuinely worst paintball experience but we will talk about this for years to come (because it was so bad)

We had a blast here a few days ago, celebrating a birthday. Did four different courses/games. We were in two teams. The young woman leading us was friendly and fun and did a great job of boosting our enthusiasm and maintaining safety precautions.
For me, this looked just like a paintball place should - rough and ragged. This was my first time paintballing and it was as I expected. It was delightfully muddy the day we came, perfect for getting dirty and shooting at each other. We got 300 shots each for the 3 hours and the staff made sure we knew tips to conserve bullets, and how much the extra shots would cost if we ran out. Thanks to "The Talk" a lot of us still had several shots left at the end. Bedlam did have smoke bombs, etc. for sale but didn't pressure us for extra sales.
You do get denim jumpsuits and helmets from them, but be sure to wear your old clothes underneath and your spare sneakers. Glasses wearers - I recommend wearing contact lenses on this day, although the one of our group who kept his small-framed glasses on did just fine. There is a quite fine port-a-potty there that was clean and stocked. We took the bus and walked to and from the place. Come a little before your time to get equipped and make the most of it. Bring your own food and drinks for the break, and enjoy!

I was up playing last weekend and it was the worst paintball I have ever played. For some reason the site ONLY uses 50 calibre paintball markers (Tippmann FT-50) which are designed for young children. If your expecting a day like other paintball youve played then be prepared to be disappointed.
To make matters even worse the paintballs that they sell on site are of very cheap quality and as a result explode inside the marker constantly. This blocks your gun so you cant fire and ruins the rest of the paint you have bought in your gun.
The prices are that astronomical it beggars belief. you can buy 2000 50 calibre paintballs online for £30, but they charge you £45 for 500 (which explode inside your gun and dont work anyway). Compared to other sites the packages are an absolute rip off. Plus they charge you £1.50 for a twix or mars bar, £2.50 for a plastic bottle of juice which is warm.
In summary your paying terrible prices for what doesnt amount to real paintball, its only 50 calibre for little kids. When I googled the company I found news articles about how the owners have been jailed for credit card fraud, so I wouldn't trust giving them your details either. Save your money and go to a professional site.

Attended this venue for a paintball afternoon session with 43 guys, each charged £41pp so not the cheapest activity but I get that all paintball places are similarly priced.
Due to it snowing and being about 0°, all we wanted to do was crack on and start playing but we were made to wait around for about half an hour before we even got a safety briefing - they knew a huge group was coming but waited until we were there to get everything ready for us.
The maps were RUBBISH - really small, flat fields with barely any notable obstacles on.
But the worst part was the equipment: I must’ve used about 6 different guns throughout the afternoon and NONE of them shot straight at all. Every other shot was just a splash of paint coming out of the barrel because the paintballs were of such a low quality despite being so extortionately priced! (£30 for 300 paintballs)
The only saving grace was that the staff were reasonably friendly… Gordon was rather accommodating to us.
Is a shame but would NOT recommend.

Recently went there for a stag do with a group of 11.
Our taxi got lost as they have zero signage to the location. We arrived on time but the instructors were not ready and were milling about for ages before we were even greeted.
It’s a run down gravel field with some shipping containers. Looks awful.
We had booked a full day expecting at least to be able to buy lunch. They had some chocolate bars and warm soft drinks in a box on the floor that were priced depending on how they felt. (£2.50 for Fanta but £1.09 for coke) and that was it.
We were amazed to discover they didn’t even have running water to fill up water bottles. They said we have a hose but ‘wouldn’t trust the water’.
Toilets were one portaloo which was gross.
We split a box of 2000 paintballs between 11 which cost £330 and lasted the group only a couple of games.
The games and maps were ok but by that point the ‘fun’ had gone out of it as were all thirsty, hungry and broke. We left at midday.
Avoid and go to deltaforce which is cheaper for paintballs, a proper establishment with toilets and hot food and more than a run down field.

My son went here recently and in general enjoyed himself with his friends.
Except for one strange and noteable incident.
He had "shot" another paintballer too close and should have been told off for doing so. It was a mistake and not meant.
However he was made to do a walk of shame and then the staff member "shot" him with his own Gun.
Outrageous!
We paid a lot of money for him and his pals to go, and certainly didn't expect him,to be bullied by the people you put trust in to look after him.
