This is the third time we have visited for afternoon tea with a Groupon voucher. Always consistent, having had quite a few afternoon teas elsewhere this is by far my favourite! You always get a lovely welcome from the young waitresses, (this time it was Shannon) the food is always fresh with a variety of sandwiches and cakes. It feels very personal with chilled background music, really relaxed atmosphere, No complaints from us. Will definitely be returning!

I have been in here on a few different occasions and have always found the staff very attentive & I'm looking forward to my afternoon tea booking in early november.

Never been in here before but as a local I know this has had a change of ownership. The new owners have decided to make this bar a 'Posh Cafe' during the day. I purchased a Groupon deal for afternoon tea including a glass of Prosecco. The normal price for this is advertised at £14.95. Nice decor & we were made very welcome, friendly service & attentive throughout our time. A choice of sandwiches & bread types, homemade scones & cakes. Bone china tea pots & cups. My only criticism would be the background music which was really more appropriate for the evening bar & was louder than required for lots of ladies chatting & maybe the cakes could have been homemade. But all in all a good experience.
