今年はどこも積雪に恵まれていますが、夏油高原もすごい積雪量でした。
リフト下、足がギリギリなほど積もっています。
コースは割と斜度があるところが多いので、初心者よりは中級者以上がオススメなゲレンデ。
天候も良い日でしたの、利用客も多く賑わっていました。
ツリーランコースも豊富なため、ツリーラン楽しむ若者が多かったように感じます。
山頂からの眺めは最高に綺麗でした！！
全てが一ヶ所に集約されていて有難いが、巨大スキーセンターで皆がこの施設に集まる感じです。
飲食は2Fにフードコートがあります。カフェもあったりとお洒落な造りです。
更衣室は白で統一されている綺麗な更衣室で気分よく利用できました。
夏油高原スキー場も青空のなか、滑走でき大自然を満喫でき、満足です。

パウダースノーで有名で、この雪質で滑りたいがために他県から遥々訪れる方も多いそうです。温泉が隣接されているので、汗をすぐに流せるのもとてもいいと思いました。夏場はキャンプ場として運営されているそうです。

ここのスキー場、雪だけはよく降りますが、雪が降るということは天気はそんなによく晴れません。たまに晴れの日がありますが、そんな日は最高です！コースは、あまり初心者向きとは言えませんが、とにかく、豪雪！毎年早ければ11月23日から例年ならGWまで滑れます。（2019年もプレオープンされてました。）もちろん人工降雪機はありませんので全て天然雪です。駐車場は無料があります。リフト代は仕方ないですね。

現役レーサーの先輩に誘われたこともあって、20年振りのスキーに行きました。夏油温泉スキー場はどこもあまり斜度はキツくない上に、しっかり締まって、かつ、しっかり圧殺された広ーい一枚バーンばかりでした。
つまり、自分が1番上手くなった気になれる、ステキなゲレンデ。
初日はスノボ独学初体験でキツかったけど、カービングスキーに履き替えたあ2日目は思いっきりはっちゃけました。

Stayed at Geto88 premium accommodation. Included private bathroom access to indoor/outdoor onsen and lift passes. Great buffet food (Japanese), good lift infrastructure and great POW when it snowed.

2019年12月末はまだ他のスキー場がオープンしてなかったので夏油に多くの人が集中してました。豪雪地帯の夏油であってもしばらくは積雪がなかったのでアイスバーンのガリガリ斜面でした。センターで売られているパンは美味しい。

Off the beaten track but with good facilities and terrain, Geto Kogen is known for its powder dumps.
We didn’t get the legendary powder while we were here but the ski area is set up nicely, is very affordable, the food court meals are excellent and it even has dorm rooms and an Onsen on site.
Highly recommend.

着いてすぐに思ったことは、
「バブルの時に作ったんだろうなぁ」と思わせる大きな施設とそのデザイン。
今でも負けずと経営していることに、あっぱれです。
雪は素晴らしいの一言、コースは中級者以上向けかなと思います。（苗場や白馬等の王道と比べて）
やはり豪雪地。
吹雪ともなれば、前が見えません。リフトもすぐ止まります。
お天気に恵まれないと、残念な感じではあります。
施設の二階には、カレーからラーメンから、フードコートがあります。ご飯には困らないです。
次回は、お天気に恵まれると良いな

~ only around 10 groomed runs
~ basically all black runs are un-groomed
~ so some blue runs are a bit steeper than expected, but as they are all wide, so are challenging yet manageable
~ the most attractive are the run run areas
~ however as there are no fresh snow during my stay, i have not tried
~ there are 2 main eating places, one served local food and steak, another small cafe served fresh baked bread and pizza. Both are hearty.
~ the price of the ski school is very reasonable. though i havent taken any class, from what observed on the slope all classes are carried out as they should be, from beginner class to advance class.
~ the onsen is large and a real open bath, which is definitely a sweet point.
~ i stayed in the dorm, and the meals are nice, buffet style with around 3 dishes, + salad, + rice, + soup. very reasonable and tasty in eyes of foreigners as well.
~ foreigners and some locals go there for the powder and tree runs, other locals enjoy the on piste runs (many local elderly of advance or above levels fot seasonal ticket), and also many taiwaneses go in groups for learning skiing or snowboarding.
