Both me and my partner visited today and we were not disappointed.
John has so much experience and knowledge, the love and safety for the birds is very much obvious.
We would highly recommend booking an experience, it's a huge shame that the development of a solar farm around his facility, has impacted his ability to open to the public fully.
We look forward to returning in the Spring 2025.

Amazing day with the birds,holding and flying them,and Megan was fantastic and her knowledge of the birds was amazing answering all of our Questions.Would definitely recommend doing the full day experience.

I bought the experience for my husband as a present and we both loved our visit! The owls are clearly loved and well cared for and our host was a fountain of knowledge. We learned some really interesting facts about these amazing birds! This is an appointment only day as the welfare of the birds is their main priority, which was one of the main reasons I chose this place. We were given plenty of time to meet each owl and my husband enjoyed flying 2 of them. What a fantastic day out. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic experience for children and adults alike. Meg was knowledgeable, patient and excellent at presenting each of the birds and it was wonderful seeing the kids not only getting close to the birds, but also flying them. A must-do.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her morning with Dotty and her owl friends. Megan took us through the owl experience and she was fantastic. Very friendly and knowledgeable. All questions asked were answered, and we left feeling like we learnt something new about the different types of owls. I would highly recommend, and look forward to returning to meet the other birds of prey.

We had a really interesting and enjoyable day at the centre.
A great team who made us feel very welcome and a fantastic opportunity to fly some of the birds.

Amazing experience, really worth doing! Staff are really friendly and the owls are incredible to see up close. Love the fact they clearly really look after all the birds.

Went to Yarak Bird of Prey at long last! Absolutely wonderful time, so worth going even on a cold very soggy Sunday morning. Can't praise everyone enough from the welcome to the leave taking so educational unhurried enjoyable experience, thoroughly recommend booking to see Dottie and friends 5 stars⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We’ve just come back from a great full day experience at Yarak Bird of Prey Centre. The day was nicely paced and we got to see a range of owls and birds of prey, with opportunities to hold them and fly them between us. The handler was very informative and answered all our questions about the birds.
The food was also very nice (JP’s and 1 lasagne) and you pre-ordered on arrival so it was ready at the hour break for lunch.
It would have been nice to have been able to look round the centre at the other birds but possibly the avian flu restricted this!
Overall a great day had by all.

What an experience! Extremely well priced. The girls who do the experience were great and so knowledgeable about each and every bird. We got to hold every bird and fly some of them. The set up and all the birds are in tip top condition and their personalities can shine through. We are a family of 5 (3 girls aged 4/9/9) and everyone was able to handle the birds the girls helped my children and gave them lots of confidence handling them. The whole experience was just fantastic and I've already booked to go back again at Easter break! Thanks John Yarak for a fabulous experience it was second to non!

Kay, you may be right that some of the birds have been through a stressful experience to get here, but I think adding more potential stress was not a plan. The team here were very accommodating with Sam our Lab. Offering water if we needed it for him and we could go out to the car as often as we needed to. They also suggested a place in the car park that was shaded for him. You have to decided for your dog, but Sam was fine, we went out to him twice and I walked him round the car park once.

My almost 5 year old son is mad about birds of prey and keen to learn more. I'm guessing none of the experiences are suitable for children? Is there anything that a child could take part in/come and see?

Hi, he is a bit young to do one of the experiences.
You can however come in as a visitor on admission and get right up close to the birds as we fly them.

If we visit the centre will we be able to hold the birds or is this at extra cost ?

Hi, we do have wheelchair users come to yarak.
We don't keep wheelchairs here.
Regarding the public transport I believe a bus does come along the b3181 but doesn't come up to Langford where Yarak is based.
