Went for a wine tour as part of a birthday present here. Beautiful winery and really excellent tour. We have been on quite a number of tours over the last decade and we still learned something new on this tour. Stayed for some cheese and wine in the shop after which was very nice but a bit overpriced so probably wouldn't do that again when we return. Purchased a couple of wines to enjoy at home.

Fantastic wine and cheese tasting event. Our host was friendly and knowledgeable. We would have loved to have stayed longer and enjoyed a bottle of wine and some food but sadly the tasting event was only an hour and then we had to leave as they were closing.

We booked this on the spur of the moment when looking for things to do around the Reading area. A wine tasting tour wouldn't be the same if one of us was driving, so it was great to know it was an easy 15 mins walk from Twyford Station and there were lots of trains (Twyford is on the Elizabeth Line, amongst others).
The booking was easy and the welcome we received upon arriving was warm. You are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes beforehand, which is plenty of time to be poured your first drink head of the start of the tour. The tour itself took you round different parts of the vineyard and the different stages of making the wine.
Due to the time of year, there was not much to see, as most of the intensive work takes place in the late Sumer/early autumn. However our guide, Phil, was friendly and informative and there was plenty to learn from him.
The tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and during that time there were 6 different wines to taste. The amount of wine is enough to enjoy it, but not too much that you would not be able to remember anything by the end.
Afterwards you can stay for a drink or bite to eat, during which Phil was available to answer any of your questions. We'd definitely recommend to others.

Enjoyable sampling of three of their fizzy wines with some (small) cakes today. Attractively presented and nicely laid out for my wife and I.
Lots of other options here, with tours, coffee, cheese and wine also available, all off-sales.

Found another hidden gem in Barkshire the most welcoming place to visit and enjoy the taste of locally made wine. Made to feel most welcome by the staff and sevice was excellent after a little taste of the fine wines came home with a number of bottles. Have a strange feeling it will not be our only visit to this oasis wine place in Barkshire.

Our tour guide Derek was amazing with facts and information but also very funny and so friendly and great to listen to! The wines are outstanding in flavour and we will definitely be supporting this fantastic local supplier on our doorstep! All the staff are friendly and nothing is a problem, also the cheeses and chutneys in the shop are fantastic too can’t rate this place enough thank you to everyone at stanlake for giving my husband a fabulous birthday treat and for all the hard work that goes into making this place sustainable! Xx Mr & Mrs Turner xx

This was an excellent tour with Lydia guiding us through the growing, picking, fermentation and bottling processes of white, rosé, red and sparkling wines. She was charming and welcoming and very good at explaining and answering questions.
The vineyard is in a beautiful setting and it was fascinating to see the processes from A-Z.

An excellent tour of the winery, with a very knowledgeable guide. We were given an understanding of all the processes, from picking the grapes to labelling the bottles. There is far more to it than you might think. Throughout the tour we were given wines to taste, and without fail these were very pleasant. At the end of the tour, we sat in the dining area and enjoyed yet more wine and some snacks. The place is very scenic, and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
