If tartan tourist tat plus food (mostly sweets) and drink are yer thing, you’ll probably be satisfied. Others may be disappointed. Nothing unique, but hey ho. That’s what folk want, I guess.

Great variety of gifts in the shop! I ordered the Staggis Burger and the Veggie Burger. These come with salad and sauce. Absolutely delicious - ten out of ten! Also ordered flat white coffee which was just the strength I like with a double shot. Great selection of cakes - I tried the iced gingerbread and the caramel shortbread. Staff were friendly and very efficient considering the shop was so busy on a Sunday at lunchtime. Would highly recommend a visit.

T he shop so dear but in a tourist trap luss is the perfect place to walk round and view even boat rides on offfer with a perfect pub to unwind

The village shop itself is lovely and the staff were really friendly. The snack shack next door was not a pleasant place, staff just seemed generally annoyed at the custom. Really weird, customer service training wouldn't go a miss.

Great shop with wonderful staff! Went in for some coffee and a cake after being lost and in need of some directions (any excuse to get a cake!!) and the lovely Nikki couldn’t of done more and helped us on our way to our next destination.

NACHOS!!
OMG as a local I didn't know these were even on the menu until I saw tourist after tourist walking past my window, so I had to follow the trail............I was not disappointed, The Nachos were FAB!! See you guys tomorrow for lunch :)

We got some lunch at village shop ,lovely food , I left my backpack on one of the seats outside,(with a scubadiving computer and my glasses and underwater camera in it ,
I phoned the shop and spoke to Andy ,
He sent it ,to me next day by royal mail .
He was so helpful and reassuring.

This is a fantastic shop! We popped in a few times while staying at the campsite next door. They have implemented a one way system which means that during busy times there is order and the shop, which is quite small, doesn't feel overbearing to be in.
The queue can sometimes be long, but there is lots to look at while you wait - as well as grocery items they also have a large selection of lovely and unusual gifts and souvenirs too.
They also sell a selection of hot food, sandwiches, coffees, smoothies, cakes, tray bakes, which we felt were reasonably priced considering what a tourist hot spot they are in. It's take away, although there are four or five picnic benches outside to sit.
The staff were all polite and friendly, and very helpful.
If you can get there before they sell out, their 'morning rolls' are delicious.

goods a bit pricey, but the shopping is convenient, plenty of selection. Can get very busy, and queuing takes a while.
