The information centre is situated at ground floor of Sibu Heritage Centre. Next to,there is Sarawak Tourism Board which provides more options for you to enjoy your journey.
Sibu is the central region for administrative purpose.According to the map, you can find the town is surrounded by district and others smaller town like; Sarikei,Kanowit,Julau and Selangau.

We visited a few times with various questions as we spent a week in Sibu. We were always greeted courteously and given lots of helpful information.

Hanya sempat mampir sebentar waktu berkunjung ke Sibu Heritage Center. Ruangannya tidak begitu besar tetapi brosur yang tersedia dirak cukup lengkap dan banyak. Sangat membantu dan informatif bagi pelancong yang berkunjung kali pertama ke Sibu.

詩巫遊客服務中心位就於詩巫歷史文物館市中心的一樓，在遊客中心可以拿到當地的地圖及旅遊資料,之後還可以去詩巫歷史文物館免費參觀.

Couldn't find it, no sign, nothing. We asked around and nobody seemed to know anything about it.
Bad publicity for Sibu, locals barely speak English and to us, they didn't seem to be very helpful to answer our questions. Not at all how I experienced the rest of Malaysia with its friendly people! It's more Chinese than Malay btw..

Greetings from Visitors' Information Centre, Sibu!
We seek apologize from you for not finding us. After our relocation and commencement date for full operational on October 2015, we were having major center's internal construction and fully begin our spreading relocation news in 2016.
However, we are now maximize our relocation acknowledgement through map (google map), and other social media. Sibu Airport, Express Wharf Terminal and Bus Terminal had recognized our new location and may always been directed to our new center.
