Very nice golf course at the mouth of Foyle river entering into the Atlantic Ocean . Always worthwhile to play there very good conditions of fairway and greens for a good prize

As a regular golfer who has been invited over the years by a long standing member and friend to play his golf course I would like to acknowledge that in the past I would have given him some stick about certain aspects of the Greencastle course. It is now my time to acknowledge the tremendous improvement that has taken place and in particular the quality of the greens. My friend has had much input to the transformation and in particular the greens. I can now say Greencastle greens are second to none that I have played on in the past or present. Congratulations to the whole Greencastle team.

The course at Greencastle Golf Club is challenging but stunning. Each hole is unique in character in this beautifully maintained course. The clubhouse is being upgraded but the kitchen still provides excellent meals which are very well priced. Staff are very friendly and maintain a high standard.

We visited Greencastle Golf Club yesterday. It’s such a beautiful spot in Co Donegal. I booked it for myself & some friends. From booking & chatting on the phone - then we changed our days around…without any issue & it was just fantastic.
Everyone was amazing with our booking from arrival, greeting, checking us in.
There’s some work going on at the clubhouse, which is going to be quite spectacular when it is finished. I can’t wait to see it!
The course, as always, is just a joy to play. There are a couple of interesting new holes that stretches out along the sea front - absolutely beautiful.
We went in for food afterwards & the tables were set up in the little verandah.
We were delighted to have a section all to ourselves!
The wee lad who took our order & served our food & drinks was so pleasant.
Bernie - your food is right up there - first class. We ate every single morsel! I loved my homemade fresh cod goujons & have to get the recipe for your delicious salad dressing! You were so nice to everyone & couldn’t have been more helpful.
Danny & everyone we spoke to - your club is fantastically friendly. From the lady who was doing the incredible planting out on the course - I wish I had taken photos to post!
The members we met have a super club to be proud of and extended a great Céad Míle Fáilte to my friends - they left Donegal today promising to be back!

A well maintained and reasonable priced course in the north of Donegal. Clubhouse is homely with friendly with courteous staff. Highly recommended for any society outing. Well worth a round !

8 of us were over from Scotland for The Open and some golf which was 3 great rounds here and all group members loved it. The course is a mix of links and parkland and it proved a good test for all the handicaps in the group. Some of the holes and views are stunning. The staff, food and condition of the course (and weather) were all excellent. A big screen showing Shane Lowry winning and some fine Guinness – what’s not to love!

Had 3 rounds of golf here during a recent trip for the open. Great course and very warm welcome. Excellent value with delicious food provided by Caroline and her staff. Highly recommended.

absolutely beautiful course with mature greens, well looked after and reasonably priced, great clubhouse and food, great guinness of course

We played twice in one week and it is a wonderfull links course. The greens a challenging...
The scenery is spectaculous!

Food absolutely fabulous. One of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Service and staff 10/10. Highly recommend. Views outstanding.

Can we hire clubs from the pro shop?

I don't think so, the pro shop sells clubs etc but I am pretty sure that they do not hire.
