Our family lives in the US and Germany, so we met in Mallorca for a family vacation. My cousin thought the ostrich farm would be fun, and she was right!
We are all adults but because of the passion of the family who owns and runs the farm, we experienced the majesty of these ostriches through the eyes of a child's delight.
With great enthusiasm, we were greeted by the father of this family-run business and Jacob, an ostrich who prefers hanging with people rather than his fellow fowls. There is a reasonable fee to enter the farm, an option to buy food to feed the birds, and then an option to enjoy a lite meal from a menu. Everyone's English was great, which made the experience all the better as we can't say the same about our Spanish!
We came earlier in the day so we tried the ostrich egg omelet accompanied by a delicious side salad and bread. The omelet was yummy, too! One of the sons actually involved us in the cutting of the egg and then prepared our food. We enjoyed our casual breakfast with big feathered onlookers reaching necks over the fence, begging to get in on our fun. So cute.
Afterward, we attended a demonstration about how to feed the birds and an audio tour that was filled with fascinating facts. There are other birds as well, but not the main attraction.
Jacob, the friendly ostrich allowed us to pet him and take a group photo and then he snuck over to the unattended entrance table to indulge in a buffet-style sampling of the food bowls for purchase. He was adorable!
Don't miss the gift shop where you can buy an empty ostrich shell, hand-made items such as lamps that are made from eggs, and stunning hand-crafted ostrich leather goods.
A delightful experience on every level, for any age.
PS - For those who dread using public bathrooms, these are clean and well-kept.

Ich kann mich den guten Bewertungen hier über die Farm nur anschliessen.
Die Mitarbeiter sprachen sehr gut Englisch und führten uns ausgezeichnet durch die Farm. Sie nahmen sich auch sehr viel Zeit für Erklärungen und um Fragen zu beantworten.
Einige Stellen auf der Farm sind mit einem Audio-Guide, abrufbar über QR-Code ausgestattet. Die Übersetzung auf Deutsch ist absolut untadelig und sehr informativ.
Man merkt den Mitarbeitern an, dass sie die Tiere lieben und sehr gut zu ihnen sind. Auch die Tiere scheinen sich äusserst wohl zu fühlen.
Heute Abend werden wir das Straussenei, das wir auf der Farm gekauft haben, in das gigantischste Spiegelei unseres Lebens verwandeln.
Die Farm ist absolut empfehlenswert und definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Great fun for all the kids - getting up close and personal, feeding the ostriches. Suitable for all ages and very friendly welcome. Worth having a bite to eat while you’re here too

Très chouette moment- nous sommes arrivés à 10.30 et sommes repartis à midi.
La visite est courte mais agréable. On donne à manger aux autruches avec un gant ou une longue cuillère. On peut même en caresser une.
Les explications en français via le téléphone sont très claires .
A 3 nous en avons eu pour 44 euros (entrées + graines).
L’accueil est super!
Les guides sont adorables et parlent lentement afin que nous puissions comprendre.
Je conseille de prendre une omelette d’œuf d’Autruche dans un salon face aux … autruches!
L’omelette est très bonne , servie avec pain beurré et salade (10 euros).
Je conseille cette visite si vous passez du temps à Majorque.
Bravo à cette famille extra qui a un fait un lieu d’élevage et un lieu de visite supers.

We had a 1 hour tour around the ostrich areal, we could feed and stroke the friendly animals and learnt a lot about them. It’s been a happy-making experience to be so close to them. Afterwards we had our first ostrich-fried-egg in our lives! We could touch the egg and witness the entire egg-opening process. Our brunch there was perfect and in the end we could take the shell with us, and an ostrich feather. There was simply nothing what could have made our experience better: great place to be and with to visit the farm!

Top für groß und klein. Man kann sich gut 1,5 h aufhalten: Strauße füttern, spielen, lecker essen. Gerade unsere 3 Jährige kam voll auf ihre Kosten.
Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gepflegte Anlage.

Really lovely place.
We took our 2 year old and baby. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The tour and experience feeding the ostriches was fun and our 2 year old loved it.
The food/cafe area was nice sitting down watching the ostriches. The food was delicious and could see it being freshly made.
The play area was also great and kept the kids entertained.

Heel leuk uitje! ik was een beetje bang toen ik de reviews las, maar het was echt heel leuk. zeker 2 uur rondgelopen. Iedereen was heel behulpzaam, veel informatie via de borden met qr codes, maar ook personeel beantwoordde heel vriendelijk alle vragen. Veel interactie met de struisvogels en mogelijkheid om na afloop wat te eten en te drinken. Super!

An excellent experience. Don’t think twice about going. The young man who greeted me was very pleasant and knowledgable. The ostriches are behind a fence so don’t be worried as you can get as close to them as you want or not as the case may be. You can buy food for them if you want and feed them off your palm or with a glove on or with a wooden spoon. I opted for the open palm and it was fine. They are a bit snappy but just keep your wits about you. They have real character. Information is available via QR codes. I am very pleased I visited.

Este mes de Julio haremos una visita a Mallorca y he visto esta granja para visitar. Me gustaría saber el precio de las entradas y el montar en avestruz. Iremos 2 adultos y 1 niño. Gracias.

Hallo, der Preis pro Erwachsenen ist 12€, pro Kind 7€ . Mit dem Strauß kann man reiten wenn das Tier gut drauf ist, das kann aber nicht garantiert werden, bei uns war es leider nicht möglich, am selben Tag morgens fanden jedoch Ritte statt. Viel Spaß.

Se pueden comprar huevos. Tanto vacios para decoración como frescos para comer. Los frescos se pueden comprar en temporada. Lo mejor es llamar antes para ver disponibilidad.
