Our tour guides, Nobuko and Yoshiko were friendly and welcoming giving us a great tour of Tsukiji Market. Nobuku was very informative giving us some history of the market and about the various foods and items available at the market. We stopped briefly along the tour route at a few stalls to taste soup base, green tea, dried soybeans. We then headed to the ABC cooking school on a local bus. At the cooking school we were introduced to Miwako who taught us how to make Japanese omlet, Miso soup and Sushi. Our family (including 3 teen boys), had a great time on the tour and at the cooking school. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

私たちのホストはとても歓迎してくれて、築地市場の素晴らしいツアーを私たちの多くの質問に答えてくれました. その後の巻き寿司教室はとても楽しく、お寿司だけでなく味噌汁や和風オムレツの作り方も丁寧に教えてくれました。 妻と私はとても楽しかったので、お勧めします！ とても楽しませてくれた親切なホストに感謝します。

We had a fantastic day exploring the Tsujiki Fish Markets and learning to make sushi, traditional Japanese omelette and miso soup at the cooking school. Miwa and Lucy were both lovely and super helpful, they made it a really enjoyable experience for us.

We really enjoyed the fish market tour with Yoko, which lasted about an hour. It was great to see some of the ingredients we’d be using for the sushi-making class. The sushi-making class with Miwa was great—I can’t wait to try the recipes at home.

We had a very nice experience wandering around the Tsukiji market with our wonderful guide Yoko and had fun making the different types of sushi and rolling our first Japanese omelette!

This was the best activity we did in Tokyo, it was absolutely incredible! Our tour guide, Nobu, showed us around Tsukiji fish market and was so attentive, explaining lots of information and allowing us to stop whenever we wanted to try delicacies! It really felt like being shown around by a member of the family. Our cooking class instructor, Miwa, was so encouraging and explained things amazingly. We absolutely loved both elements of the activity and would jump at the chance to do it again.

This was such an amazing experience! We loved seeing the tsukiji market and our guide Lucy was so unbelievable. She helped guide us through the market and made amazing food recommendations that we really enjoyed. She helped answer all our questions about the market and tokyo in general. Our sushi making class run by Miwako was so much fun and so delicious. I would highly recommend this experience to all visiting tokyo!!

Nobu was such a kind, generous and informative tour guide. What a great way to see the food delights of Tokyo. My three children absolutely loved it. Highly recommend.

Cooking with Emmi was delightful! Our evening with her was like having dinner with a charming friend.
Emmi worked very cooperatively with me from the beginning, first because I’d mixed up the dates, them because we had another person, and finally because I have food sensitivities. She accommodated us on everything. She even added a dish for me since I couldn’t eat her miso soup.
We had fun chopping ingredients and learning to make gyoza and side dishes. Watching her cook in her teensy kitchen was inspiring. Eating our work was even better. I heartily recommend Emmi’s classes.

It was a different view of Japan. One that introduces you to the everyday life in Tokyo from the point of view of an Australian who has lived in Japan for 20years. Very relaxed, very honest and not your usual tourist-y bike tours. We enjoyed it. Andy was very east to be with. And he took care of us. He taught us the ins and outs of living in Tokyo.

Hello, we have not decided our lesson date for 2020 yet, but there is possibility that we will run our tour on April 30th and May 1st. We hope to have you join us at the time!

Would it be possible to do this class as two people who don't eat fish or meat?
The ramen or gyoza could be made with tofu. Or other veg? Is this a possibility?

Our class did not make ramen or gyoza, but we did make sushi that you could easily leave the fish off of. The staff seemed very accommodating and friendly, so I think if you told them at booking that you did not eat fish or meat that they would do their best to accommodate you.

excuse me. i have trouble paying with my credit cards... i have checked with my bank, and it says it's because it's not connected to ur pay system.. is there another site for me to pay? tks.
