A must do experience on the Mornington Peninsula, so many things I didn’t know about and I live in Melbourne. Arthur’s knowledge and stories were fantastic, not to mention the comfort in his large van as he chauffeured us around. From pick up to drop off he was engaging, funny and entertaining. We started with berries to refresh the palette before a stunning beach brunch of local treats. So many great wineries and a feast for lunch followed by some more wineries. Arrived back at our accommodation with no capacity to eat or drink anything else. Arthur kindly packed in all our purchases along the way and even unpacked them into our car at the end of the day. We are still enjoying the wines almost a year later. Will do again when we have special guests in town.

The throughly planned experience from pick up to drop off was surprisingly exceptional. Arthur from Plunge Tours is most knowledgeable about local history & the wine industry. He shared great stories all day and made our group of 9 local women feel special and welcomed.
We each said we’d likely book again when we had a special occasion or family/friends in town.

A perfect Birthday with Arthur! Fun and informing, I highly recommend Plunge Tours if you just want to have a really good day out. Starting with bubbles and local cheese and finishing with a whole lot of new knowledge about the processes behind wine making and the beauty of Mornington, I loved it all.

We had a day out on tour with Arthur and can honestly say it was a fun, informative and a fab story telling experience (even got a poem performed). 4 of us piled in to Arthur's very comfy car and had a great trip as well as a lovely walk. His knowledge and personal delivery were great. We went to 3 tastings, had a wonderful wine and cheese brunch on the beach, a great walk and an all in all fab time - Cheers Arthur (and thanks Geraldine for putting him right ;-D )

It was such a pleasure taking your group out and our jaunt down to Cape Schanck and the glorious ocean views was indeed a highlight of my year too. The Plunge is all about the experience and so I love the idea of gifting special places, special wines or even a poem for memories of a special day.

Have just returned from a wonderful day with Arthur - we were not sure what to expect however it was a fun filled day and extremely interesting. Arthur's knowledge and compassion for the area, the wines and the winemakers is remarkable.
Unfortunately the weather started out against us and we were unable to experience the Seaside Feast so that was a little disappointing but lunch at Somers General Store was pleasant.
All the wineries were most welcoming and more than happy to share and impart their passion and knowledge for their wines. We visited some great wineries and tasted some beautiful wines however my highlight was visiting Darren Gaffy from Principia. Such a down to earth guy, so easy to talk to and his wines were really special.
Arthur's enthusiasm, cheeky personality, love of wine and the area, made our day a very memorable experience.

It was an absolute pleasure to take you around for the day and although the weather conspired against us, the wines were the clear winners. So lovely to reacquaint with Ron who supervised my boat license all those years ago. You clearly have a love of wine and it was a pleasure to find you some new ones to fill your cellar.

Arthur is a true oenophile and a wealth of information on his area...well known and respected by owners of all the vineyards we visited. Besides all that, he loves what he does and has a great sense of humour, making our day with him one of a kind. Really fun and unforgettable. I cannot say enough. You too need to take the PLUNGE!

This plunge is a great experience, not scary 😊. This is not your normal wine tour where you jump in a nice car and someone drives you around. This is an experience that I would highly recommend and do again!. Arthur is a knowledgeable host who knows more about the region and wine than many of the winery staff. He is funny and has a great personality with a cheeky Aussie side. Now to the wine it starts on the beach with some nice sparkling and cheese from the area while the days plan is reviewed. Then wine wine wine, the day was really great too many highlights to capture.
Next time we are back in the area we will do it again and read up on the geology of winery’s

What a rare treat and privileged to take not one but two geologists from the USA on a wine tour. Stephanie and you were an absolute delight and I enjoyed our day together immensely. Please keep drinking and enjoying great wine and I would be absolutely delighted if you returned to the Peninsula for another adventure with me.

We've done wine tours at home in the US and in other parts of Australia when visiting, and this was HANDS DOWN the best one we've been on. Arthur provides such a great experience, from the morning picnic down to the interesting commentary throughout the day. He has such great knowledge and connections to the area, and was warmly welcomed at every place we visited. We had a great time and can't wait to come back next year!

What a wonderful day I enjoyed with you and Aaron my first, real life, geologists. You were both such great company even if Aaron had an unnerving resemblance to ABC radio personality, Francis Leach. I loved the fact that you went along with some of my ridiculous practical jokes including when we told winemaker, Ric McIntyre that Aaron was in fact Alex Maltman, internationally famous author of Vineyards, Rocks and Soils. When I saw Rick recently he was still chuckling about this. Cheers to you both!! Lovely people.

Have just returned from a month roadtrip in Australia. We had a wonderful day in Mornington Peninsula with Arthur O´Bryan. Was on a beach picnic, tasted local delicacies such as cheese, bread, olives and sparkling wine. He took us to the best wineries where we were warmly received by pleasent winemakers and tasted a lot of good wine. Arthur was the perfect host, knowledgeable, fun and knows everyone in the business. This was the best wine tour ever. We have been wine tasting in Sonoma Valley in California, but the trip with Arthur was much more relaxed and fun. Wish we could buy lots of good Pinot Noir at the cellar dors we where visiting, but unfortunately we couldn´t since we would return to Norway just a few days later. Thank you Arthur for a memorable day!
