Such a lovely place to go, always friendly and on hand with any help and guidance. I love that I can just relax and be creative. Highly recommend.

Fantastic staff. They are always cheerful and encouraging. Many great suggestions to make our pieces unique and fun. Such a relaxing place to be in too. Can't wait to paint again.

I've been wanting to do pottery painting for years and I've finally gone!
Couldn't think of a better place to have gone for the first time!
Amazing friendly staff who are bubbly and offer a helping hand if you need it.
I love that they have a massive selection of pottery to paint and show all the available colours AFTER they have been glazed as the colour look different on dried clay.
Time flew by so quick, I'd recommend going for 2/3 hours depending on what you're painting!!

My daughter loves coming here and it's a great little place to get crafty and relax. We can't wait to go back and paint something else.

Try your hand at pottery painting. Choose your own level you'll create something unique.
Helpfull and encouraging if you don't think you have any artistic ability you will be given the inspiration to find it.
Great as a family/group activity for adults and children.

First time in this fantastic creative space, our host couldn't have been better. Great guidance, patient and lovely. An enormous choice of things to decorate and very friendly place . Brilliant atmosphere and our birthday girl loved it. We can't wait to see the results, would highly recommend to people of all ages.. Loved it!

A quiet Monday morning. Took our two year old granddaughter to make a handprint for her mothers birthday. Lady owner extremely helpful and friendly. All materials(pottery, paints, brushes etc) are provided. Helpful hints and technique advice given. The shop run courses for beginners onwards and also advertise a bring your own bottle ladies night. Because of kiln firing times you may have to wait for up to a week to return and collect your masterpiece. Although not a must do the shop can accommodate larger groups than five with dedicated tutors. They also run outreach for schools, playgroups etc and return a percentage of the fees back. Best to phone the owner before arriving as can get very busy, especially during school holidays. Our two year old painted her plate happily for over an hour but adults should allow more time.

i wanted something original and sentimental for a best friends birthday and this place just catered so well for it, very pleased, very personal to me and to my friend is all i will say, but such thought and effort went in and it made a poorly friend very happy x

I wanted something personal and original for my Husband's Birthday. I had seen Glazed Creations from the outside before and finally my curiosity was piqued and I decided to go in. Oh my goodness! I did say that I wanted something personal and original and this shop offers that on a huge scale!
To explain for those of you who have not visited yet, what they have on offer are mugs, cups, plates of all different sizes, tiles, animals, and the list just goes on and on. These items are made of white clay which has been what they call biscuit fired. This means that they are ready to be decorated by you - the customer in whatever way you want to. For example... a tile with the footprint of a baby in the centre, perhaps decorated around the edges and the words... 'Love to Nanny on your Birthday from your grandbaby XXX'. Once you have finished decorating your item, it is then, along with other creations, given the final firing which will completely fix your decoration to your item in exactly the way that you did the decoration. I believe that the process takes about a week because they will want the kiln to be full and once the firing is complete it takes a long time for the kiln to cool down. Your item will look glossy and beautiful and be just like a ceramic decorated item that you might buy in the shops only this one will be a completely wonderful original 😊
Durable, wipeable, dustable and washable (Please, PLEASE ASK for dishwasher and microwave advice).
There are many members of staff are there to help you with your own creation. They are happy to advise you about anything and everything from start to finish, and all done with a genuine, caring smile. They will teach you about the 'paints' and how to apply them and how to practice first before painting your item.
Everyone young and old is welcomed and assisted as much or as little as they need. Children of all ages even tiny babies in buggies are welcome. You can book a slot for a group of you, perhaps friends or family or both with children who will absolutely love it. Creating something so personal, so original and precious is such a wonderful experience, something not easily forgotten.
Prices are very reasonable and would certainly NOT break the bank. As for appointments, well I was lucky as I had not made an appointment but I was on my own and the shop was not too busy, however I think it is probably a good idea to make an appointment as this shop really can get busy which certainly does not surprise me, word of mouth has got around since they opened quite a while ago, that this is the perfect place to go to for that special gift or forever keepsake.
I can only award this shop 5 out of 5, but if I could I would award them a million out of 5 🙌 👍

Thank you for such a comprehensive and positive review, we love it when our customers feel as enthusiastic about our little studio as we do.
Items are not microwave safe, they get very hot if placed in the microwave, but they are dishwasher safe ... in many households similar to my own things are less likely to get broken in the dishwasher than if being thrown around in the sink by a helpful child!

This is a lovely shop, we bought a few things that could be hand painted by someone we know that does hand painting as a hobby. However, we notice they do painting seasons there, you can paint a item and it is then glazed for you to take away. They also do activities for kids but we went there without children so can not report on that part. Lovely shop, lovely ideas and friendly staff.

Thank you for your review, we are open for pottery painting every day except Thursday and tend to suggest that you book a table either online, by phone or email so as to avoid disappointment ... it definitely is not just an activity for kids, we have many adult painters that enjoy a bit of calm time out from life creating and enjoying tea or coffee.
