Please wear reef safe sunscreen to protect our pawikans and corals. Yes, there is a sunblock or sunscreen that is reef friendly. Beach Hut, Belo, Magwai, and Human Nature are / has those variant. 😊
Do not touch the turtles else you will be called out by the water marshalls. I booked a tour pachake for this for 2550 all in with rountrip hotel transpo, pump boat, environmental fees, lunch the guide for the water, the snorekling equipment and shoes. Renting their Go pro i think was 1200 pesos. Better split the bill with orhers if you are a solo joiner. Good food prepared by the localsz

Superbe site pour les tortues... Plage pas vraiment de plage.je pense qu il faut s y rendre tôt pour profiter quand il n y a pas beaucoup de monde. On y est arrivé à 7h30 et on est reparti après le déjeuner 13h30. Largement suffisant .

300 php for snorkeling with a local guide in the turtle santuary. This helps protect the turtles from tourists touching them and also for the safety of tourists from the boats and helps the community of Apo Island. The turtles are very used to humans and will look at you then just keep eating this is thanks to the local guides who keep people from annoying them. A great project if you are in Apo you should support the guides are down the end of the main beach wearing bright yellow shirts. The guide kindly looked after my money and phone while I was snorkeling and kept it safe. The 300 php fee also includes gear if you do not have your own and they have life jackets if you can't swim. We saw at least 7 turtles including a huge male turtles.

très belles plongées sur Apo Island réserve parmi les tortues et les coraux avec une vision de beaucoup de multiples poissons et coraux magnifiques et la réserve de plusieurs tortues

Enjoyed the beautiful reef off APO island. Completed two dives but bad weather prevented us for enjoying a second day of diving here. The locals brought an assortment of travel souvenirs onboard for us to brose through and purchase.

We took a day trip here and snorkeled two sites, and I dove at Chapel. The variety of corals was amazing and included both hard and soft corals with brilliant colors; however, the number and variety of fish were not as high as in the nearby Dauin Reserve. But the highlight of our visit was seeing the green turtles. We saw at least a half dozen different individuals. The turtles were completely comfortable with our presence. While snorkeling, I remained in a fixed position, watching one munch away. She kept moving closer and closer to me until she was only 4 feet away. I remained still, watching her for minutes. It was beautiful!

Bessere Ein und Ausstiege der Gäste von den bankas. Plastikmüll Glasscherben und Unrat am Strand beseitigen lassen.Naturschutzgebiet schaut anders aus.Leider kein Fotoapparat dabei gehabt,oder Glück gehabt-weil wir alle pitschnass wurden.

Leider hatten wir kein Handy oder Fotoapparat dabei, um diese Müllhalde zu fotografieren. Wenn das ein Traumstrand bzw eine Trauminsel sein soll, dann falle ich vom Glauben ab. Wir sind schon an vielen Stränden der Philippinen gewesen, aber dieser war der Unatraktivste. Vielleicht lohnt es sich für Taucher, aber sonst nicht zu empfehlen. Vorallem für das Geld.

Snorkling with sea turtles and we saw a sea snake, all really close but with a good guide named Welmer, all very safe.
Hiked also, amazing view at the end. My recommendations.

I’m in awe in this place. Visited last Sep 2022 and my first ever snorkeling experience was magical! Food can be a bit pricey but understandable. It is the underwater experience that marked this place on top of my list so far. The people are very kind and hospitable. You will never regret coming here. It is a whole new world under the sea 🥰

È possibile, arrivando a Dumaguete (da bohol) alle 9:30 del mattino, andare ad Apo Island, fare snorkeling ed essere si ritorno a dumaguete per prendere la barca delle 14:30 per bohol? Nel senso: si fa in tempo?

Hi. Can you get to apo island for a day trip from either Bohol or oslob? We are time restricted and don't want to stay in dumagetti over night.
If you can do say trips from oslob and Bohol, which is the cheapest? Thank you

Not a good idea, as you lose time traveling as well as its more expensive and not so safe if waves are choppy

It would probably be an all day boat ride just to Apo from Oslob and even longer from Bohol.

It will still be best to stay in Dauin area and there's a lot of good resorts to choose from. If you'll stay in Apo Island, there will be no electricity during day time

Hi. I am wanting to stay on Apo Island but I wanted to know if anyone can recommend diving operator on the island? I have read that the Liberty Island operator is not great. Any suggestions? Salamat po :)

Hi there, we just finished yesterday our dive in Apo, we booked with Liberty and we had a great experience:
- since our Open Water 10 years ago we didn't practice and we had a very professional refresh from Arthur with a detailed briefing and after, a 47min dive with him ( we were 2)
-the following day we were 5 on the boat with 2 senior instructors + 1 driver and 1 helper and we had a great dive: they are very professional, checking that everything is OK every 5 min. Price was 1000 pesos.
The dive equipment is a bit used fine. We forgot our own masks and when we were living they stopped the boat to give it back to us.
All the staff was very nice. We didn't check on TripAdvisor before deciding to choose Liberty, but when we arrived we saw the equipments well organized, and customers seemed satisfied so we ended up there.
I hope it will help you making your decision. Enjoy Apo !
