We went in Viking room, great room even had spears which my 18 year old thought was great.
My favourite part of the day was watching my son and daughter working together to escape. Room seemed to bring us together as a family.

These room are fantastic.
We had so much fun playing all 4 rooms here, most recently the Christmas room.
I could mention so many different point across all 4 rooms but each room is so different and every room has something unique that I've never seen before.
If you're looking for a longer room to play, here you have the choice of 3 rooms and one is 90 minutes.
I don't think i could pick a favourite because i enjoyed them all. However I have only just played the Christmas room and it really is fabulous, it's very magical and was a massive hit with the children.
We had Jess, Graham and Ben as hosts and they were all fabulous.

What a fantastic couple of hours. We took part in the Viking escape room. It was so much fun. The puzzles where very engaging and the whole room was full of surprises. It was my first escape room and I thought the quality was awesome. I will definitely be going back to try the others out!

We played all three of the rooms here in November and they are brilliant!
We loved all three, but a shout-out has to go to their latest Vikings room, which is awesome.
Our hosts were all wonderful, so kind and welcoming, happily chatting between games too.

We had a fantastic afternoon at Extremescape. My family and I did the pirate ship room, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were really impressed with the tech, definitely an experience we won’t forget. We escaped with 5 mins to spare! The room was a good mixture of difficult & easy.
The family who own it were lovely.
We will definitely be back to try the two other rooms.

Myself and my partner are self proclaimed ‘seasoned escapers’ and the is one of, if not the best escape rooms we have ever been to.
The hosts are down to earth, helpful and passionate. The location is beautiful and purpose built. We completed the Viking room and the quality of the production (such as set, sound, story) can only be compared to a theme park attraction! It was a really showstopper!
We don’t know how we can do other escape rooms now because we will always be comparing them to extreamescape!
Because it’s in the Peak District we decided to visit Castleton in the morning and make a day of it which I would recommend! Be back soon for the other rooms!

Wow wow WOW! We travelled from Newcastle yesterday to play the Lost Tomb and Viking rooms for my birthday and we were blown away. We have done 20-30 rooms and Extremescape easily lands at the top of the list. Beautifully designed rooms with fun and inventive puzzles, some completely unexpected surprises and a lot of truly magical moments along the way! I screamed with joy probably about fifty times across the two rooms! The location is amazing too, well worth the travel to Disley just for this.
Jess was beyond lovely and even dropped us off at the station afterwards so we didn’t miss our train after our game was delayed! Just an absolute stellar experience from start to finish, I really could not recommend Extremescape more!

Played all 3 rooms in one visit and had an absolutely amazing time. All 3 games have an amazing theme that has been built right into the fabric of the room and engineered right into the puzzles. The puzzles themselves flow nicely from one to the next, with ingenious solutions - some of which I haven't seen in any other escape room. Honestly I can't express how amazing these experiences are, and how lovely the hosts are, Jess & Graham clearly have an amazing passion for the rooms they've built. Can't wait for the next one!

Could not recommend a trip out to Extremescapes highly enough. We’ve now played two of their games and can’t wait to go back for more. The owners really know what they’re doing and have created some truly original games and puzzles.

I am prone to getting a bit claustrophobic. I'm just a bit worried it will be very small and dark. Can I take my 'phone to light my way if it is too dark!

Hi, please don't worry our doors are not locked and our rooms are the biggest I have been in so far. The Pirates Ship is larger than a caravan and the Lost Tomb even bigger and certainly not dark. We don't allow phones to be used in the rooms, however we have excellent torches which are only given to you to help with the numbers on padlocks not because it is dark. We have had a few people with similar concerns and on exiting the rooms I have asked them how they felt and no-one has ever said they felt any level of claustrophobia.
