Barristers is dated and a little scruffy inside. Drinks are not the best value either and the place is almost empty most of the time. This is due to the door staff who refuse entry to fifty percent of the customers. The owner of this business must be losing a fortune in revenue mainly due to the clowns who stand at the front door.

Haven’t been for years and what a surprise. Pub crawl brought us here and it was so good we stayed for the night. Friendly, efficient staff who welcomed us , great entertainment and bouncers to ensure no trouble. Will definitely be back, what a great find.

Staff very friendly but now the prices are now even higher I can get get my favourite lager 20p cheaper at Wetherspoons which is a farm nicer place to be with no noisy louts shoutins and swearing. Why the regulars keep going I will never know.

Visited on Saturday, few drinks with friends. Very quiet & poor selection of bottled beers. Starting to look a little run down inside, no atmosphere & staff pretty miserable! Sat outside in sun in large seating area which was nice but a shame this is normally closed off at night.

I wouldn't normally consider offering a review for a pub but saw the reviews for the Barristers when I googled it to get directions. Not sure what the issues and agendas are of other reviewers, but a large group of us had an hour or so in here this week whilst in Leyland with no issues.
Three or four real ales on, I had a few which were well looked after & less than £2 a pint.

Shocking, this place as gone down hill, its disgusting and the staff are miserable *suppose i would be if i worked there). its the worst place in leyland !

Rude staff! Paid an extortionate £2.80 for a very weak lime & soda!!!!! My friend (a local Vicar) paid £1.99 for a pint of bitter which said was not as good but the price possibly reflected this. I questioned the barmaid about the £2.80. She told me all post-mix drinks are classed as a 'large fizzy' which are £2.80. Lime & soda is known in the pub trade as a 'splash and a dash' (splash of cordial worth 60pence tops and a dash of soda which is usually free). The barmaid continued to make jest of the issue with those standing at the bar. Will not return!

Bad boozer. You're better walking up the road to anywhere! This evening I was asked to leave for asking the child behind the bar if he could smell the difference between Malibu or Barcardi. Rock it out on the cameras!!!!
