If you like your quality crafts this is the shop to visit. Excellent pieces on show, fro metalwork to pottery etc

This is a fantastic craft shop. Full of local talented people's work. We really enjoyed our visit and came out with a couple of smaller items. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area, but it is also good enough to be worth making a special trip.

Lovely shop in a beautiful village. The items are unique and made made a local co-operative of artists. They have kindly agreed to send me a small copper Christmas tree decoration that I didn't buy when there.

We came to Appledore last June 2019. The exterior decor is enticing and the staff lady was friendly.

Stumbled across this place, it’s only small but there is a great choice of really modern crafts including furniture, jewellery, ceramics and wood turning. We could have bought so many things!

There are a number of little artisans shops selling gifts and original works of art which is behind the main road into this lovely little town of Appledore.
The Appledore Crafts Company is owned by a group of artisans who all take their turns managing the shop. I was delighted to meet the artist when I bought two ceramic items of her craft. While she was wrapping it, I was commenting on how lovely the pieces were and she said, “I made them....” I was very chuffed that it added an extra special touch to meeting this lovely lady and buying them..see photo attached. Thank you so much!!

Small shop, but all nicely displayed and of varying price ranges. A good place to find a gift. Well worth a look on a visit to Appledore.

The charming village of Appledore has three or four shops well with a stop. This one's a bit more upscale than the others in kind and we made a few purchases to take back with us for selves and family.

Lovely concept of the artists working together to run this shop to display and sell their beautiful, original sculptures and artwork. Great to browse and find unique gifts for others or a gem for yourself. Good range of skills and crafts to suit most tastes. I particularly love the puffins. The detail is stunning.

This wonderful shop has some of the best handmade crafts we have seen. My husband and I are both art teachers and makers ourselves and the the quality of the work in this shop was well above average for this sort of craft cooperative. If your ever in Appledore do take the time to visit it’s well worth it.
