If you are into motorcars, this is a must. Great collection, ranging from ‘Day 1’, the birth of the automobile, through till present. The man himself, well what a genius. What a great legacy. A great outdoors area for the kids, and lovely cafe. Ticket will allow you entry all year round. And finally, staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Second time we've been and can't recommend or highly enough! The displays are pristine. We had our two young children and they loved going round in their own little cars (unjust wish there were a few more as when it gets just there aren't enough). We had a lovely stop half way round in the park which is a great release for the kids
We ate in the cafe for lunch and the pasty I had was absolutely delicious as was the cake! I wish there were a few more chil friendly food options for little ones but we managed to find a sandwich they could share!
We'll definitely be back!

Exceeded my expectations. An incredible number of cars on display from all eras. Really worth a visit even if cars are not your thing. Great coffee in the cafe too.

I'm not particularly interested in cars, and only went because my partner loves them. I'm very glad we went. It's a wonderful place. My partner was interested in the more modern cars whilst I loved the beautiful old vintage cars - there's something for everyone. The 'red room' is an amazing sight. Some of the negative reviews on this site seem to be a bit petulant to my mind. The majority are excellent reviews, and deservedly so.

A superb way to spend a morning or afternoon whilst the British weather is against you (or even not). If red is your colour then the red room will keep you occupied for a good hour.

Although not my first visit to the Haynes International Motor Museum, it was no less awe-inspiring than when I first visited some years ago.
First things first, I arrived on a grey, wet, afternoon in early March 2023 and a visit to the cafe (open to non-museum visitors) lifted my spirits somewhat before I headed into the museum. I went for a tea, a pre-packed sandwich and some cake. Fairly standard, fairly priced stuff.
For anyone interested in classic cars and motorcycles it's an absolute must-visit and I have seen vehicles here that I never throught I would have the chance to see in person, such as the gorgeous Cord and Duesenburg; there's far too much to list in any detail here, suffice it to say there will be something that will pique anyone's interest. Overall, it's a vast, carefully curated collection and I stood inside the red-themed room for ages taking my time to soak eveything in. I would recommend allowing several hours to properly appreciate eveything on display; dropping in for an hour or so just isn't doing the collection justice. Indeed, it would be possible to spend a full day here but, alas, I had to be elsewhere so my time was more limited than I would have liked.
There's pleny of parking on-site, an outdoor area and as for cost, I paid a little under £20 which I thought was fair enough for a solo (non-concession) adult visitor. And, of course, you can visit as many times as you like during the following 12 months so the value you get from the admission ticket will far exceed it's cost if you are able to visit more than once. Unfortunately, I live too far away to take advantage but it's nice to know I have the option if I find myself in the area again any time soon.

Visited here after passing so many times and wanting to visit. I wasn't disappointed. Although mostly Euro and US, looking over the wealth of Asian and other world cars there's still a lot of interesting cars here. From Benz's motorised tricycle through to some of the classics most car fans will be well aware of. What I found far more interesting was the smattering of everyday cars such as a Alegro or mk 1 Golf alongside far more expensive contemporaries. There's also a few fascinating one offs such as the Rover SD1 Estate giving us a taste of what could have been. The only area Beaulieu slightly edges ahead in is their collection of related it's such as petrol pumps, garage spares from earlier eras, but the collection certainly stands up in comparison.
Really worth a visit for all folk interested cars.

Great place to go. Many cars to see from across motoring history. I Particularly liked looking at cars from golden age of British Motoring such as the Triumphs and Lotus Espirit but there are many other exciting cars to see.
Great layout, good descriptions on the cars. The love for the subject is clear in the time that has been put into.
Food is reasonable. Shop has many car-related items
Tickets are open for return within a year which is useful as there is a lot to take in. This makes the ticket price good value.
Overall we came away smiling.

The Haynes Motor Museum is a must visit if you in the area..helpful staff although mainly Volunteers in attendance not many staff in main museum.. good layout fabulous cars too ..rest of site is …

Hi, we welcome all ages. There are soft play and park areas as well as some interactive displays within the Museum. We have Little Tikes cars which can be driven around the Museum and our Café is family friendly with a kids menu. Hope that helps.

Just wondering Are dogs allowed in the restaurant area. I Understand why they are not allowed in the museum.

Hi, we don't allow dogs inside the Museum or the Café unless they are Guide Dogs. However we do have an outside area of the café which dogs can sit with owners at tables. Water for dogs is available too, please ask the café staff for more water if needed. We also have a field area in our 'additional parking' area at the back of the Museum should you need to walk them. I hope that helps.

Are you allowed to sit in the cars to have your photo took

Dear Robert,
The only car that you can have your photo whilst sat in is the F1 replica, but this is more aimed for children (there is a cost involved). We do have a dressing up and photo opportunity in the Morris Story, but this is not a sit in a car (you stand by the side of the car).

No sorry the Museum is not dog friendly. You are welcome to bring your dog with you and leave them in the car and go in and out of the Museum as many times as you like to check on them. There is plenty of ground to exercise them on.
