Absolutely disgusting as got served with a pint with 4 flies in and found out the store their glasses upright which is so wrong and unhygenic.

Great pub with a good size beer garden, very good for watching football matches.
Friendly staff, do a lovely pint, and have a good pool table and dartboard.

A friend was performing with her new band, so we decided to have a look along.
Parking was quite easy, with space to the side and rear.
We got a seat quite easily, but with the arrival of many other punters, it became very difficult to see the band.
Clearly a friendly lively venue, well worth a visit.

A very friendly pub that gets busy on a Saturday night when you get good live bands on. We saw ska mania the place was bouncing. And the service is excellent

Just awful went to support my brothers band and the drunken locals attacked me and my family, and the landlords were no help to protect us from the harassment will never return and sadly neither will my brothers band.

We come here to watch live music. It.s always busy on such nights. The raised stage area makes it easy for the bands to set up and for us to watch. It can get lively, especially if the toon have been on Sky prior to the band coming on at 9pm ish.(more usually 9.30) If you want a good seat, then dont come late (like we always do) or you.ll end up sitting alongside the stage area which isn.t ideal.Bar staff always pleasant ... drink cheap. There will always be,thank goodness, some merry folks having a laugh/dance ... without them,life would be rather dull. Easy parking.
Ps never been in the building before 8.45pm ...so if it does food etc ... no idea about it.
Toilets have bn refurbushed ... good job ...although the yobs will undoubtedly have a go at it ... sadly.

Don't like this place at all , they have gone mad with large TV's with football on everywhere you turn no escape, place is full full of shirts and chavs , will avoid

Always a good place to go for a few drinks and live music on a Saturday night. Staff are friendly. Bus stop right outside the pub and also local taxi companies are cheap in the area.

Not out, by a long way, judging by the crush at the bar. Probably the best family pub in the district with a reasonable selection of beers and comfortable seating.
