This was just our second visit and given the experience with the toilets, it will be a while before we return. The park is actually lovely as is a walk to the hotel, but hopefully you will not be caught short and have to use the toilets. They are an absolute disgrace - and that is being courteous! They are about on the same level as toilets in the outback in Greece or Spain or Italy, - a hole in the floor! Considering the park is in an affulent area of the Wirral I am so surprised at the state of them. Any local bringing a visitor must hold their head in shame. Great a grip for god sake, this is 2023 not 1823!

The park is very good but the toilets that are available are a disgrace. Considering the open is on a couple of miles away I am appalled at what and where people that need to use public conveniences are expected to put up with. There is a cafe next door & they have a sign up staining their toilets are closed. This is a very large park and I certainly have been put off visiting again

Lovely park with some great views. I was there to go on the railway. There are 2 a ground level track and a raised sit astride track. Brilliant little ride - very frequent keeping the queue down and it is VERY popular. Donations to ride. The guys here are super friendly. The parking is pay and display - cheap.

Lovely place,but Don't use the cafe!Outrageous prices.£3 for 2 small mars bars!As I say do not use the cafe.Card only payments as well.

we spent a nice 45 minutes walk after having afternoon tea at the neighbouring hotel. stunning and peaceful beautiful and the dog had a lovely time to

We went for a short walk around the quay and woods. It's a nice place. There is a fairly big car park.

It is very well presented and lots to explore. We love taking the dog to the various view points where you get great views of Liverpool Bay in distance on one side and Dee on the other. The common is ur favourite part with a mixture of heathland and smooth red sandstone. There is a lovely lake and miniature train (summer) that is popular with families and a cafe for a brew!

I have visited here several times and it is a lovely place to visit whether you want to sit and relax in the lovely walled garden,or take a stroll through the woodland.
Parking is pay and display and there is a lovely cafe where you can sit outside and have a hot or cold drink and snacks as well.

Does anyone know if it’s easy enough to push a pram on a walk in this park? Wondering if the ground is all lumpy and bumpy making it too difficult or whether it has a path all around it maybe? Thank you for any info x
