I have art from "Artesanias La Esquina" all over my home! That's the ultimate vote of confidence for the great selection I found in this gem of a store. The owners source from all over the country and are fair to their suppliers, yet keep their prices accessible to tourists. I so appreciate it when one place brings it all in one place for me.

is definitely the Wright place to see the art of Esteli and around. They have a very good collection of local art of every kind. plus local delicacy a d coffee. the staff is very friendly and informative.

I popped in on my way around town, staying at Los Arcos Hotel which is just a block away. I found the selection of handicrafts very good and the prices pretty low. My favorite find was a pair of earrings for only a dollar!

Tienen de todo madera marmolina, ropa, pinturas, rosquillas, abren supongo despues de las 8 y luego a las 2 y cierran al medio dia

Tienen artesanías pero no gran variedad, los precios son moderados. El personal ni fu ni fa. Esta situada en una calle de paso de la ciudad.

No place in Nicaragua can compete with the tourist market in Masaya for variety. Several of the bus stations in Managua have decent tourist markets with very low prices but with considerably less variety than Masaya. Artesanias la Esquina isn't even in the game.

There is a similar shop northwest of the Cathedral that has slightly different offerings at about the same prices. These items can be bought in markets for less, but the selection is great and the prices are tourist friendly. They take plastic as well.

This was the first place we visit in Nicaragua my wife bought 2 pairs of hand made leather sandals and it was 9 bucks for both
It is better if you pay with the National money called Cordoba please don't change money at the airport or at any government exchange they will rip you off don't let them pay you less than 27 Cordova for each dollar if you go to the Lobos (wolfs) they pay from 27.30 to 27.40 and that is Awesome. If you use their money it is better.
