Staff are at as thick as they look. Beer it's dreadful. They clearly don't want to work there as everything is a massive inconvenience. Avoid at all costs.

Nice pub and staff but the beer is shocking had better home brew don't think they clean the lines much

Dictator for a landlord unsociable very rude with customers which should not happen with all the stress and upset during these sad times of covid 19..
Barred another few people again very recently no reason just like to be a little man trying to act big.. Lots of complaints about gangs of people no self distancing.This pub used to be really social not any more. Amber taverns seem to ignore a huge problem.. Question is Why???

It's not for the sensitive but the ale is good, surroundings absolutely excellent. Not for families but how refreshing kids aren't running around the place. Beautiful from outside as well.

If you want a drink whether it be Beer, Wine, Spirits, Soft Drinks, Coffee or want to watch ALL the sport then this is the place to be in Atherton. The site has three Sky boxes so multiple sports can be shown simultaneously. Prices are great also.
They also do a great range of Perfect Serve Gins. And there's a beer garden out back.

Walked in this place and felt like we were walking in to a saloon from some western with the feeling a shootout was about to break out. Had one drink. Mrs hated it. Loads of yobs just a hell hole. Walked past later on and police were stood outside the door so glad we left.

New owners used to be Pound Pub what a dump.
Now complete revamp. Owned by small brewery in Bolton. First class beers. Place is spotless. Excellent staff. Well used by locals. Highly recommended.
Absolutely nothing negative.
