‪Gujari Mahal has now lost its charm now it's just an ordinary empty place, built by king for his queen but now somehow no maintenance in this place and nothing to offer to people ‬

‪11 February, 2017.
Legend has it that the ruler of Delhi Feroz Shah Tughlaq, fell in
love with a Gujar lady from the town of Hisar during the course
of a hunting expedition. The structure is built on top of a tall
bastion on one side, which can be seen from the market side.
This high plinth has an entrance to the South side.
This rubble masonry walled structure has been restored very well.
The place has three large grilled windows, with arches on top,
and nice reliefs, above (the Eastern flank). The Southern side
has three recessed arches again, and there is a gateway in the
stone bastion on the ground floor.
Much to our disappointment, we reached the structure after 5pm,
the time when this place officially closes for the day. From the
outside however, we could see a lot of the nice structure, which
has been restored very well. The entrance to the small complex is
from the Northern side.‬

‪The Gujari Mahal was built by Firoz Shah Tughlaq for his beloved Gujari Rani, a native of Hissar with whom he fell in love during the course of one of his hunting expeditions. The palace imbibes characteristic features of Tughlaq architecture such as massive tapering walls thickly plastered in lime and narrow openings. Open stairs lead to the baradari of the palace, which stands on a high plinth and has underground chambers. The baradari is a square structure having three developed arches on each side. All entrances (except one) are provided with stone doorframes. The roof has nine bays, each carrying hemispherical dome decorated with paneling work in lime plaster. The exterior walls above the arched openings are provided with beautifully carved red sandstone brackets.‬
