‪You have to climb down stairs (around 200 to 250) to visit the caves. We were not too keen because you know you have to climb them back up again. But, our driver insisted we visit the place and we are glad we listened. There was very little water in the falls (in May). However, the as we climbed down, the temperature kept getting cooler. By the time we reached the bottom it felt like we were transported to somewhere else. Lots of different kinds of birds chirping away. Cool water falling on one side of the caves. The guide insisted we try the water. It was quite refreshing. There were a few families having a picnic lunch as well. The pond had many fish and spotted a few small turtles as well. After spending some time, we slowly headed back up. There are monkeys in the area.. so need to be careful. All in all a great time IF you have no issues climbing up and down stairs.‬

‪Beautiful falls. It is worth going all the way down the stairs. Easy to go down small stairs but when u return.
The caves and drizzling water and falls is an out if world scene. Loved it‬

‪Pandav Caves, though not as main stream but definitely a must visit if someone is in Khajuraho or Panna area. Just about 5kms from the Panna Tiger Reserver (Madla Gate) its an awesome place for a refreshing visit to a waterfall (not as much in winters) and the caves which have a constant flow of water trickling down from the layers of sedimentary rocks. The water is very cold and tasty to drink (the guide claimed that the water has been lab tested and is very beneficial for health). The photos don't do full justice to the charm of this place which is the experience when you are there and splashing in the trickling water. Kids have tonnes of fun looking the fishes in the pond and splashing in the trickling water streams.

ProTip: Carry a water bottle and fill it up from the dripping water its tasty and clean (tested on myself :D). While there is ample parking and you can drive till the descent point, there are quite a number of stairs, which seemingly small are quite steep.‬

‪A short 45 minutes break on the way from Khajuraho to Bandghavgarh. Steep steps (approx 250) to reach the caves and the falls. Unique thing is the water oozing from the rocks with no water flowing at soil level. Need to buy vehicle and passanger ticket which includes guide fees. Worth a visit‬

‪The locale is mind boggling, with the yellowing of the leaves , the whole area looks resplendent, as if we are experiencing fall in India.
The waterfalls are rather tiny, with sprinkles of water falling, not from an height , not with a force. The green, wet look of the area is due to the waterfall and the pond that has been created due to it.
The original forest, the steps to reach the caves are well maintained, with a railing.
The guide introduces with tye flora and fauna and accompanies you, and gives information based on your interest.
Don't know if Pandavas ever existed or visited, the waterfalls and caves make an interesting sight seeing point.
The good part is that it belongs to Panna national park. Though the park is closed in the monsoon. Pandava falls are open, and then they seem to have profuse water.‬

‪Place is nice. Surrounding environment is also very thrilling. Place is good for young people as lots of steps are there which is difficult for older people.‬

‪This place is 7 km from Panna Tiger Reserve. If you are going to do safari ask your tour manager to include this in your itinerary (tour manager might charge extra.) If you have taken safari ticket the cost of entrance will be less as compared to going separately to this place. On entry you will get guide which is included in entrance fee. You have to climb down to 300 steps where you will find a waterfall with pond. Interesting stories of pandav staying here during exile periods hence it is called pandav fall. The pond water is quite clean however pond is fenced so you can not reach to pond. Since we visited in Oct month, the flow in fall was slow.

Ok place to visit once‬

‪A Nice place. The view from the top looking down into the water pool is really awesome. The old caves, presumably used by the pandavas during their exile is really old and worth looking. ‬
