On Fridays I look after my grandson for most of the day. Certainly during winter and wet days this is a favourite of ours. He’s under 2 so the area at the back is his favourite with mock play shops set up. He can let of steam in the soft play area.
It gets busy so get there early and secure a table. There is a cafe where you can buy a variety of snacks and lunches as well as drinks. There is a huge soft play area for bigger children too. Parking is limited.

Took my grandchildren, aged 4 and 7, here recently. The facility is fantastic, really good soft play, with themed rooms for dressing up.
I went outside the half term so it was relatively quiet and you could spend hours there while the children have fun climbing and going on the slides.
Although its good I thought it was expensive. Adults are charged £1.50 to basically sit in and use the expensive café.
The facility offers themed birthday parties and celebrations.
So overall a great place for children to go but I thought it was expensive.

Been here a few times with my 9 month old baby, the room is brilliant and usually quiet which is good! I like the array of toys and their all working which is good.
The toddler play part is good and small but great for young children.
I have used the cafe once and was pleasantly surprised the food was fine and not to expensive and the service was good.

I came with my children today and I was shocked to see the price had gone up to 9.95 per child and 1.50 for myself. I appreciate it has the rooms as well as play frame but this is ridiculous! You could pay that for a day out for your child at some places. This is just for a couple of hours play. We like to come here as my daughter enjoy playing in the different rooms, however don’t come very often as the price is just too much especially if you have more than one child. I just do think it’s reasonable at all. Then by the time you buy drinks and snacks it’s 30 pound for 2 hours!! Like I said they do enjoy it here but I think the price should be looked at to enable to visit more often.

Hi there Louise, thank you for your review. Whilst we are aware that our prices are slightly higher than our competitors, we do feel that we offer something a bit extra at Kids'n'Action, due to the amount of activities we provide here on top of just soft play. We are committed to providing the best service to our customers; therefore we do invest a lot into the business such as replenishing toys every few weeks and operate regular deep cleans of the centre. This along with the increase of the national minimum wage means we unfortunately had to slightly raise our admission to cover some of our costs so that we can maintain our high standards.
As we are aware our prices are slightly higher than some of our competitors, we have introduced a monthly membership scheme to help our customers spread the cost via direct debit for unlimited visits to Kids’n’Action. This represents a fantastic saving as you can effectively pay the cost of one visit and come every day of the month! Of course we appreciate that not everyone can commit to this; but we have tried to ease the financial pressure for our regular customers.
We also operate a loyalty scheme for entry and also for tea and coffee, where you can receive the 6th purchase for free on entry/kids meals/tea and coffee (just ensure to have your loyalty card stamped each time). During off-peak periods and at less busy times it is possible to come at 9.30am and stay all day, representing what we believe is good value for a day's entertainment.
We do hope that you will continue to visit us and look forward to welcoming you again soon.

You can spend a day and have a birthday as this place offers special rooms for celebrations. It is 15 minutes walk from the Winnersh triangle train station.

Good point....staff are very friendly and helpful. My children really enjoyed the soft play area, they were slightly too big for the role play village but it didn't stop them going in. Plenty of tables to sit at. Varied menu.
Bad points....expensive, despite what the company says I've been to other soft plays that are just as good and half the price. The food wasn't great either, tiny portions and again overpriced for the portion size. (I'm judging this on what we ate so others may have a different opinion).
Summary....my 3 children had a great time here and that's what it's all about. However, being as I'm now around £60 down after entrance fee and food and drink I probably won't be going back in a hurry.

very big, very well laid out and excellent for kids of all ages up to 8. can get very busy and with bigger kids, you do get smaller kids pushed out of the way.
However staff are very hot on this and I've seen a few kids taken out and removed from the big climbing frame

Entry fee is the most expensive around and £2.95 for a jug of squash?!
Every drink served in disposable cups.
Staff were very attentive, kept place tidy.
I would agree it's a greedy management at work here.

Entry was over £9 for my two year old and I compared to £2-6 in the area. It gets EXTREMELY busy and be prepared for lots of parents letting their children run riot while they sit and look at their phones or drink coffee. Supervision could definitely be improved.
It relatively clean but some of the toy rooms lack creativity regarding the toys placed there. It very ‘plain’ and my son got bored easy.
The new baby room is shut off from the other areas making it impossible to see an older sibling.

This is an ok soft play but why on earth is it £12 for an adult with a child ???!!! JJ's in Basingstoke is 10 x better and HALF that price !!! Vote with your feet people or just accept being totally ripped off.

It's not really suitable. One of the best in the area for the very young ones is the little known Active Tots in Stratford Saye.

Hi Irene, yes, Kids'n'Action will be a fantastic place for a 15 months old to play and exercise:) We have a soft play area designed for under 4 years, play rooms with thousand of toys which the little kids just love to play in, walkers to push around and lots of costumes :) We look forward to welcoming you to our centre soon :)
