Nice caves in Rajapuri town. It takes about 30 mins to reach there from Panchgani town.
Inside the temple ladies are not allowed.
Its just a short visit i.e. takes 10mins.

These caves are located on the route off from the main road to Mahabaleshwar. The caves are very old and have poor infrastructure. Once you take off the shoes then it not possible to wear them without washing the feet and there is no water or place to do so. Ladies are not allowed inside. There are statues of Lord Kartik, Shiva and Ganesha. A small stream flows through the caves and a miniature pond can be found here. It is located 75 steps down the main road.

Rajpuri caves was very old caves. There was three small caves. Shivling, Ganeshji idol was there in caves. Woman's are not allowed in cave.

nothing special, only thing is get water in 3 small ponds, have to get down for 75 steps ,kartikeya god is there so ladies not allowed. very small and deep strip roads both side houses, found there small cave of around 5 meters,

After getting down about 100 steep steps with grass overgrown on them, we reached the caves. The Shivling and idols of Ganesh & Nandi are placed in the caves. There were flowers & other holy items around the idols which means a priest worships them everyday but no one was around at that time. These are real caves & the idols are placed at the entrance of the caves. We did not want to venture inside as there was no one around.
It will be good to have a guide who can explain the significance of these caves, otherwise you can skip it.

This are the ancient caves at Panchgani with mythological importance related to Mahabharata. Women are not allowed to enter in this caves. Reason is not known to me. Nothing great about this place.

Rajpuri caves are located in the village of Rajapuri. The caves whilst not under the Archaeological Survey of India are definitely of historical significance. There is a small temple inside and also few sculptures including one of Nandi. Overall a nice offbeat place to go for History enthusiasts.

This is sacred cave near Satara. It is believed that Pandawas have taken a shelter in this caves in the historical times. However, women are not allowed to go inside the caves.

Not many is aware about the existence of this caves..It is believed to be scared as it is believed that pandavas took shelter in this caves during their exile and also Holy Ganga is said to flow into the water kund(ponds). Its located around 7km long drive from panchgami in a narrow-lane village.As not many tourist visits, thus it has the calmness and virginal environment surrounding the cave. You may not find a guide but if you are adventurous, you may take a small tour inside the cave, as it is not a huge cave. The simplicity, authenticity and uniqueness of the caves are simply stunning..so if you love historical places and short adventure then this place should be at the top of the list if you visit Panchgani.
