Overcrowded and narrow lane market It does have most of the items in reasonable range. You need to bargain a lot. There are no boards as such so you have to find your way. It is better to go with some one known for the first time.

I have been visiting this place quite often. Apart from cheap items now many branded items are also in and around. One should be confused that only things of Hong Kong are available here.

Visited this market place with wife and did some shopping of souvenirs and fruits. We found almost everything needed for daily routine, ranging from cosmetics, batteries, shoes, clothes etc,

Bought a bunch of stuff from this market at reasonable prices so it was well worth the time spent. Dimapur in itself is a fantastic place to meet some of the friendliest folks in the state.
This market gets quite busy though, best time is between 3pm to 6pm as things wind down for the day

The Hong Kong Market in Dimapur came up in the early 80s. It was started by tibetan traders and a few local young people. Most if the goods sold here are from Bangkok or China. The market was known throughout the North East as the latest styles were available. The advent of net marketing has taken a toll on the market. Most of the tibetan traders have migrated to other countries. Now you will get cheap Chinese goods smuggled from Myanmar. Not worth visiting. The alley ways are crowded and dirty. Muddy when it rains.

you will get cheap product but u have to be good at bargaining.

It is situated just near the railway station and most of the goods are available here . Goods starting from clothes to other electronics item are available here . One needs to bargain well as prices are not fixed like show rooms or branded stores.

Most of Chinese items sold here, due to that market name is Hongkong market.From leather goods to electronics and from clothes to cutlery every item is available here. One must have good bargain skills to shop from here.

A must visit place if you are in Dimapur. Good place to shop around. Most of the stuffs are from Myanmar and it’s a ideal shopping destination for young folks especially girls.
