This is a stadium situated in the centre of the city.It has a running track,sufficient space for athletic activities and sufficient seating capacity for around 800 persons.There is ample parking space outside the complex.The stadium has witnessed many notable events in the past.

t is one of the oldest stadium of Chhattisgrah and had pride of holding many prestigious national sports events can accomadate nearly 20000 thousands spectators ,had beautiful galary and many gates for easy exits after the events

Not maintained neither constructed properly somehow peoples have no hope from here specially youth neither fit for sports nor for any public gathering program

This stadium has been the heart of all activities considered physical in Bhilai for as long as the Bhilai Steel Plant itself. the best part about the place is its open field and facilities, which everyone wants to grow up in, as well want their future generations to enjoy.
But the dust hand pollution around the place makes it difficult to sustain long time enjoyment at the place. Also, as 90% of the place is open ground, it is not preferable to remain here for long after uncle Sun has climbed up in the sky.
Give this place a visit if you are in Bhilai. Enjoy watching people enjoying and playing sports, or indulge yourself in it as well.

what to say about this place,my whole childhood was spent here playing cricket.Stadium looks like a cricket stadium but it was actually made for hockey later it is used for 26 jan ceremony.Pared in 26 jan here is worth watching.Place is just in center of civic centre bhilai niwas and sector 10.Lots of cricket tournaments are organised here.

Very old landmark and known place for Bhilai people.
Earlier it used to be very clean and maintained but the maintenance is very poor nowadays.

Winter is the best time for starting a fitness activity. In Bhilai, winter is pleasant. Lot of people come here in the morning for a morning walk. Besides, you can send your children for athletics and hockey. Coaching is free. You can practise on your own too without the help of a coach.

Mainly Jayanti Stadium is meant for Hockey and Athletics. The Republic Day function of Bhilai Steel Plant is also held here every year on 26th of January every year.
In winter, many people are seen in the stadium doing morning walk in addition to the sports lover you may find on all days.
Please go there for morning walk and keep yourself fit!
