This temple is between Mettur and Salem, in Mecheri. I have not gone inside but crossed it on the way, but it looked very crowded and hence famous. Driver informed me that it is one of the famous temples in the district and lot of people from around come here.

It is one of the wonderful temples I have visited. The goddess here is bathrakali,the angry form of devi parvathi. The goddess here looks so beautiful than any other bathrakali in any of the temple. During important occasions the goddess is maked up in a manner that she politely blessing the devotees. If you go on such occasions you will not see the statue of the goddess,rather you will be before a living girl with a child in her hands,and peaceful smile in her face. If you have a chance go to mecheri to get the blessings of the almighty goddess.

Now the temple is renowated as i visited 5 years before temple was small now it is very big and famous located between metturdam and salem.

After they renovated this temple is look good now. 5 year over now with new look. All time favorite temple for us.

The Temple Situated in South East direction in the middle of mecheri down ,along with salem and dharmpuri highway .The main entrance Rajagopuram in noth face direction,there are three gopurams in other three directions south, east,west.Every month Ammavasi (free moon) day midnight pooja going on ,that time Hindu people assembled and stay in this Temple .There are wide area and Mandapam surrounding the temple.The God known as Vada BhadrakalliAmman is showering her blessing to the peoples.Many more temple sorrunding in mecheri down.Posupathieswara temple is also famous in mecheri.

I went here with family, it is a peaceful location located 32 kilometers away from Salem towards Mettur Dam Route. A very old temple but renovated recently. Deity of the Temple is Goddess Bathrakali. Very famous temple in Salem. Praying here gets marriage soon.

Ancient temple situated in Mecheri which is a small village.Newly renovated and kumbabishekam was done recently.During the time of New moon day and full moon day the temple is thronged with devotees.Goddess is very very powerfull.All your needs and desires will get fulfilled by praying in this temple.
