I went to Marine Aquarium with my mother wife and two sons. The huge skeletan of Whale was amazing outside the aquarium. I loved the statue of the turtle. I also loved the brilliant hermit crab which was kept inside the aquarium which was eating fishes. It is very well maintained. My children loved it a lot.

It is a nice presentation, Good collection about oceanography, only few center they run , but it is one of them.
We can get a little idea different type of living animals in Ocean with our scuba driving.
They provide little scientific description, to know better and more search about that animals.
They try to cover maximum sea animals available in Indian sub continents, bay of bengal, Arabian ocean, and Indian Ocean.

The aquarium has many marine species. But the highlight of the place is the Whale skeleton. The kids would enjoy the place. Overall a must visit if one goes to Digha.

This is a side seeing point from Digha. Lots of Sea organism are stored here, good place for children.

This fish aquarium is not far from Digha city, its a great entertainment for old and young,this place can be reach by e-rickshaw on nominal price, there is no entry fee for tourist just one has to register family head name and address on the main gate,there are lots of sea fishes,variety of crabs,snails and other live animals can be seen here, a small museum has been maintain with preserve sea animals has been kept as mummy, a huge whale skeleton has been kept on the main gate for tourist,photography is strictly prohibited.

It is free of cost and mid-way between old Digha and the Digha railway station. It has a nice display of fish and corals. Photography is prohibited inside the building.
If a fee was charged and was used for better upkeep of the place, then it could be improved vastly. It can also attract more visitors. We loved it and kids will love it as well.

Marine Aquarium is situated in New Digha, we visited during afternoon under heavy rain, the entry is free. Photography inside aquarium is prohibited. The aquarium has couple of big rooms, where different species of live ocean Fish / Coral and replica of big tortoise are displayed. The small section, where ecosystem of Sunderban has been recreated, appeared to me more like an amateurish attempt. A whale skeletal is displayed at the entry of the aquarium. The amenities inside the aquarium was not very guest friendly, there was no AC nor installed enough fans. The lack of air circulation made the place hot & humid, not at all comfortable to spend time inside.

We are in Kolkata the city of joy for the first time and we went to digha the most beautiful place of west Bengal and we get chance to visit this beautiful place which is awesome. We saw different types of fish's.

Marine aquarium is situated in old digha.A whale skeletal is displayed outside the aquarium which got near the Digha beach in 2012.Photography is not allowed inside the aquarium.There is a wide range of fishes including the stingray, the moray eel etc available there.You can also see coral reefs and sea grasses displayed there.

He visit Digha to enjoy the sea, but the sea life or marine ecosystem can't be viewed from the sea beach.He we can get a brief of different species of sea.Some the samples are live, kept in acqarium.Minimum 2/3 hours is required to view all samples of marine fish,crabs and other preserved samples.
