Such a very nice and peaceful place where you can rejuvenate yourself and enjoy the nice view of the surrounding, with Mount Fuji as backdrop.

Saiko Iyashi-no-Sato Nenba tourist village is built near the lake. The entrance to this collection is 500 yen. This village was built on the remains of the old village that was destroyed by a landslide in 1966. The houses are built in the old style and each of them refers to a specific theme. Some of them are also dedicated to craft stores. For people who like to see traditional Japanese houses and enjoy opening and closing sliding doors and windows, this place will definitely be interesting to visit.

ここには、世界遺産富士山を臨む西湖の畔に、茅葺屋根の家々が立ち並ぶ、美しき日本の原風景というキャッチフレーズです。
ここの、一番奥山の一番高い所にやってきました。 ここからは茅葺屋根と富士山がくっきり見えますね。
茅葺屋根の古民家が20数件も並んでいるんですよ。 各お家はそれぞれ
体験教室や、お土産屋さんになっています。 外国から来た観光客には
人気が出そうですね。

Desa Tradisional di Jepang yang masih terjaga dan terawat dengan baik. Ruang tempat memasak beserta perlengkapan memasak juga masih ada, begitu juga dengan ruang tempat beristirahat.
Biaya masuk untuk dewasa ¥500 dan anak-anak ¥250.
Dari sini juga terlihat keindahan gunung Fuji. Untuk Muslim di sekitar parkiran terdapat musholla / Masjid berukuran kecil dan juga ada beberapa pedagang untuk kita berbelanja.

茅葺きの農家住宅が20棟ほど移築・保存されており、のどかでノスタルジックな風景です。集落の先に見える富士山が景色に映えます。犬は建物内には入れませんが、各所に設置されているリードフックなどを利用できます。散策路は坂道もありますが歩きやすいです。

西湖の北西部に昔乍らの藁ぶき屋根の集落を再現した集落があります。水害で壊滅的な被害を受けた集落を再現したものだそうです。萱ぶきの家々を見て回ると、幼いころに行った山奥の祖母ちゃんの家を思い出します。懐かしいなー、土間や囲炉裏。ゆっくりと巡って、何だかホンワカした気分になりました。日本昔話に出て来るような日本の農村の原風景です。時間に余裕があれば、寄ってみてください。

次の観光地に行くための
時間つぶしのために寄りました。
正直全然期待してなくて。
でもいい意味で裏切られましたー
よかったです。
平日でほとんど人がいなかったのもあり
ゆっくり散歩できました。
いろいろな個性的なショップも
よかったです。
富士山が見えたらもっとよかったなぁ

Hi all.. would like to ask about the duration average we could spend our time there.. is it possible to explore for 1-2 hours? our highlight actually to take a good picture with fuji mt view wearing kimono/yukata.. to make it clear, our plan on that day is from tokyo - fuji q highland - iyashi no sato - tokyo.. thank you :)

Yes it is possible to tour in two hours; and yes you can get some magnificent photos of Mt Fuji. We got some awesome photos of Mt Fuji from here.

Hi, really need your advice. we have plan to visit in mid dec 2019 .
our plan is from shinjuku in the morning go to fujiten snow by bus.
- is it enough time to go to iyashi from fujiten after lunch time ?
- is there any bus route from Iyashi back to shinjuku ?or we have to take the green bus line again to kawaguchi station ?

I drove in the Kawaguchiko area as it gives me more time to move between places. I think it will be quite rush if you take public transport. Or you can consider spending a night in Kawaguchiko.

駐車場近くと、敷地内に1つあったと思います。喫煙所は見ませんでしたが、駐車場辺りで吸われていた方を見かけました。

If you decide to rent a car, I would say it'll be the best idea. You can go anywhere you want, and not so far from the train station.And if you decide not to rent a car, you can go by bus. Please reference the Route map of Omni Bus.
You can take the green line to get there.

Would appreciate some help to locate exactly where the Bus Stop 68 is, for the return to Kawaguchiko station. I found the drop off point but, could not find the boarding station to return to Kawaguchiko station in Google Maps. Thanks in advance.

You can return to Kawaguchiko at the same bus stop.
