‪Excellent cast but dreadful script‬

‪A huge theatrical disappointment despite the very talented cast. The script was as bright as the dark side of the moon and I'm amazed and puzzled how this show has miraculously survived for so long in the USA. There was only one memorable song (well performed), but the threadbare script was largely predictable and reminiscent of low budget experimental theatre: and it didn't improve in the second half, when the only highlight was one of the remaining audience's mobile phone ringing. Don't waste your time and money.‬

‪Cairns Choral Society always have one of the few entertainment programs in Cairns which is not unbearably fringe and a sadly self indulgent production.‬

‪amazing musicals‬

‪My first time was quite recent and wasn't sure what to expect. The musical was also a comedy and so thoroughly enjoyable. Was a dinner/theatre show. The dinner was good although the seating a bit cramped. I'd go again, pricing was good also. $45 for both dinner and show.‬
