‪Amazing Birding Trip!‬

‪My husband and I had a very limited time to explore Panama City and wanted to make the most out of our trip by going with a expert bird guide to the pipeline bird trail. After reading reviews on TripAdvisor we decided to book with Nando. Right from the start Kaiyote (who helped book the trip) was very detailed and gave us all the info we needed to choose the what type of experience we wanted. Nando and his brother- in -law picked us up at our hotel and we were off. In route, we stopped to see if we could see the night monkeys and we found them in nestled in their cavity. What a great start to the day! The day just got better as we searched different habitats heading to the pipeline trail. Nando is an excellent spotter and can identify many bird calls by ear. We ended at the discovery center where we had the option to climb the tower and view the hummingbirds from the porch. In all we saw 70 species in 4 hours! It was a highlight of our time in Panama City and I would definitely recommend this company for your birding excursion! Thank you Nando!‬

‪今年春假和朋友一同在巴拿马进行了为期一周的观鸟，朋友联系到了Nando来作为我们在Pipeline Road的三天行程的向导，而Nando毋庸置疑的职业水准以及热情的态度着实给我们留下了深刻的印象。Nando带领我们在Pipeline Road进行了总计一整天（第一天上午+第二天下午及夜观）的观鸟活动，期间我们总共收获了逾一百种鸟类，包括了数种咬鹃，蚁鸟，蜂鸟，翠鴗等中美洲特色种，夜观时也有各类猫头鹰，大䳍，帕拉夜鹰，以及多种兽类。此外，不得不提一下Nando的开朗与热情，在我们与Nando一同在Pipeline Road观鸟期间遇到了不少鸟友，Nando从不吝啬向其他鸟友分享自己掌握的鸟讯，也因此总能够从其他人那里获得最新的信息，为我们带来了无与伦比的观鸟体验。‬

‪Nando is a wonderful bird guide and we had a lovely morning with him. He is extremely knowledgeable and great a calling birds. We birded on the pipeline, but my favorite area was the pond by the munitions area. Don't worry, no live munitions. I highly recommend Nando‬

‪Nando Quiroz : Un excellent guide‬

‪Nando Quiroz est sans doute le meilleur guide du Panama. Attentionné et à l’écoute il nous a fait découvrir plus de 70 espèces d’oiseaux. Il connaît bien les habitats et sait comment trouver les espèces et n’hésite pas à sortir des sentiers battus pour nous les montrer. Il reconnaît plus de 600 espèces par le chant et peut les imiter pour la plupart.

Nous avons pris le forfait de 8 heures. Attention de réserver directement avec lui car son ancienne compagnie utilise encore son nom pour vous attirer. Il est venu nous chercher à l’hôtel et nous a même trouvé un autre guide pour nos autres visites culturelles et historique au Panama.

Bref, nous avons passé une excellente journée en sa compagnie et le recommandons sans hésitation,‬

‪Don’t miss this one‬

‪You definitely want to bird with Nando. His knowledge of birds is outstanding. Fortunately, he caters to highest denominator guests, meaning if you are advanced level birder you will not have wasted your time, and if you are learner or intermediate, you get a big opportunity. Everybody gets to look in the scope. On the Pipeline Road, his son Ismael drives, and Nando rides in the back of the pickup truck, eyes and ears open. When Nando pounds on the cab, Ismael brakes it. Get out quickly and quietly to see what might might for you be a new species in the profound canopy. My small group also visited the Discovery Center, which includes the tower and the hummingbird feeders. Highly recommend.‬

‪Nando is great!‬

‪Spent a day with Nando. Exceptional guide- you can tell he is deeply passionate about birds and nature. This is not just a job for him. Excellent at spotting birds and calling them. Appreciated his calling the steak chested antpitta for a special viewing. No tricks or feeding here...just deep knowledge, patience, and respect for nature. Highly recommend.‬

‪Great Birding and Fun In the Rainforest‬

‪My wife and I had 3 great days with Nando. He is unmatched in his ability to find the species of interest and to direct your view to a specific location to spot the bird. That alone is justification for his excellent rating as a guide, but he is much more than a great birding guide. He is sensitive to the way you want to experience nature and the particular way you want to find new species and get great new views of other birds previously seen. When you have completed the short time that you have with him, you will have a long list of birds sighted, and you will have gained a friend.‬

‪Superb birding with a Wonderful Guide!‬

‪We recently spent three days with Nando in the Pipeline area. The experience was wonderful. Nando was excellent at both spotting birds as well as hearing birds .. Identification was instantaneous.. saving more time for more birding. He was able to get us into the best possible position for both spotting with his wonderful scope as well as my cameral. We spotted 137 different species during our three days along with numerous mammals. Highly recommend this service if you are in Panama... numerous options for other parts of Panama too!‬

‪Birding auf hohem Niveau‬

‪Vater und Sohn bilden zusammen mit ihren Swarovski-Spektiv/Ferngläsern ein grandioses Team, beide sind mehr als nur fit mit den lokalen Vögeln, und zwar bis hin zum kleinen braunen Vögelchen, das von 4 identischen Arten nurbanhand der Stimme zu unterscheiden ist. Die Superkraft des Vaters ist es, die Vögel nicht nur anhand der Stimmen sicher zu bestimmen, die meisten ksnn er immitieren und damit z.B. putzige, aber scheue Antpittas anlocken. Die Superkraft des Sohnes wiederum ist es, mit dem Handy des Klienten gestochene Fotos und Videos besagter Vögelchen durch das Spektiv zu machen. Wahnsinn! Für Ornies und nicht ganz unerfahrene Birder ein absoluter Traum, wer nur "ein paar bunte Vögelchen" sehen möchte, dem wird schnell der Kopf schwirren.... In diesem Sinne: Höchstmass an Kompetenz, wahnsinnig nett, absolut zuverlässig und pünktlich, mehr Zeit als geplant, Zusatzfernglas für meine Freundin - jederzeit gerne wieder!‬

‪I highly recommend Nando and crew. His passion for birding was evident when he took extra time near the end of our trip to track down one of his favorite birds the ant pitta. They arrived at our B&B on time and we’re very flexible as to the schedule. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent with him.‬
