A fabulous way to spend an hour! I had the Spitfire flight which was brilliant including take-offs and dodgy landings. Dogfight was a challenge but great fun chasing those enemy planes.
Great instructions throughout.

A great experience with excellent tuition throughout. Totally absorbing - the time flew by. An eye opener to feel the difference in behaviour between the ME109 and the Spitfire. You have to admire those who flew these in battle where there is so much to think about - not forgetting your air speed!
Leave plenty of time to find the venue which is tucked away along side a new housing development - not quite where we expected to find a Garden Centre. The Garden Centre restaurant does a fine selection of food and drink to buffer the journey :-)

Amazing experience, very interesting and highly informative. Great expert insight from Captain Lowan and just a lot of good fun. Would definitely do again!

What a really positive experience! The hour tuition was well worth the cost and having Captain Mark to give of his knowledge and skills made the whole flight worthwhile.
I was impressed by the reception at the centre. We had been delayed by problems on the railway and we missed our slot but the team at Fly a Flight managed to accommodate me later👍
I cannot recommend the experience enough! Whether you’re a novice -like me or experienced it’s well worth a visit. “I’ll be back”!

I spent 2 hours in the company of Captain Mark Lowen piloting a Boeing 737 and it was such a great experience, especially for someone who has very little knowledge of airliners or flying! Captain Mark has such a wealth of flying experiences and his enthusiasm for his profession and for showing others shines through. My wife watched from a seat at the rear of the cockpit and enjoyed it too. For anyone thinking of doing this experience or buying someone it as a gift, don't hesitate. Two hours may seem long but it flew by (apologies for the pun!). Highly recommended.

We bought our teenage son a 1 hour Boeing 737 Flight Simulator experience and this totally exceeded our expectations. The booking was made easy by the lady we spoke to who was really helpful and flexible and then gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. Teenage boys can be awkward to talk to but our Son was put at ease by the excellent instructor who brought the whole experience to life and really got our Son involved - it was a bonus to be able to watch and it all felt so like like. We would highly recommend this experience and will come again.

An absolute superb experience with tremendous instruction. Felt like the real thing and just raised my awareness of what the Spitfire pilots went through and had to cope with. Simply brilliant !

Fly a flight is a fantastic family run business! Captain Lowen was outstanding and so professional. His years of experience and passion for flying really shines through! This was a special birthday gift for my partner and he loved it. We had 90m in the Boeing 737 and my partner said it wasn’t enough. He is so patient and you learn so much. Will definitely be going back!

This was a fabulous experience with excellent tuition. My wife and I spent an hour trying to shoot each other down. Heaven knows how I’d have felt if she had succeeded. We really had a great time, but it did make you think of what the your pilots must have been through 80 years ago. The difference in the two aircraft was remarkable with the ME109 having the better fire power with it’s 20mm cannon, but the Spit was far more agile and if you controlled the speed as you turned it was easier to get on the tail of the ME109. But the .303s were definitely less successful. I cannot comment if this does feel anything like the real thing, but it was a sensational experience. Well run, and very friendly. Just wish there was one over in the NW.

I'm so pleased you had such a great time in our Battle of Britain combat experience. We do try to make it as accurate as possible. It does make you think and appreciate just what the pilots, from both sides of the channel, went through.

What an excellent experience. Felt very welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. Don’t let the exterior look put you off. Inside was well laid out with plenty to read and see as you wait. As for the actual experience you forget that you are in a simulator in seconds. It is nothing like the computer games that you might be used to. You are in an actual cockpit and the screen wraps round you.
We did the dogfight and the instructor was so helpful and gave tips as we went along. The only downside was that the hour went by so fast. The simulator is very responsive and gives the instructor all sorts of information, he in turn lets you know what damage has been caused to your aircraft and how it is affecting your flight. An excellent experience for all those who wonder what it is like to fly a real aircraft. Highly recommended.

Does this simulator move when your flying it.

This is a fixed base simulator as used by the airline companies for 80% of their training.
Although it doesn't move, you do get the feeling you are moving due to the wrap around screens and the seats vibrate so you feel every bump on the runway and turbulence in the air.
