I did the 737 simulator with Captain Mark. It was absolutely fantastic! Mark was a wonderful instructor with so much knowledge, having been a captain on the actual 737 as a commercial pilot for many years. We flew a number of different circuits and approaches to some of the world's most amazing airports. I will definitely be booking again!

My wife had brought me a 1 hour slot in the Spitfire, when we arrived we were warmly welcomed and I was soon seated in the cockpit. I had never sat in one before but the instructor who was very knowledgeable showed me all the controls and in a very short space of time had me flying. We did basic flying then moved onto takeoff and landing and then onto combat. The whole experience was excellent and just drummed it home how amazing the pilots were in the 2nd world war. Would recommend anyone to have a go.

My son had a 1 hour lesson with Mark and the whole experience was very enjoyable and educational. Mark was a great tutor as he explained everything in detail and provided guidance and praise throughout the lesson. I would highly recommend Fly a Flight for a realistic flying experience.

This was given as a gift for our 12 year old son who is very keen to become a pilot in the future. It was a brilliant experience, lots of information and he was able to complete a few take offs/landings of his choice. Mark the pilot was great as well as the friendly lady on the desk. Would definitely recommend to anyone else wanting to be a pilot.

We spent the afternoon in the flight simulator and it was excellent. I am scared of flying and Mark was able to tell me how a plane works, the safety measures taken, and what pilots would do if there was an incident. It was very reassuring. He has a lot of experience and knowledge. As a family we took it in turns to fly the plane from different locations around the globe and that was a lot of fun. I even tried flying in cross winds to see how difficult it is to fly in the hardest conditions.

My brother in law and I were given the Battle of Britain Experience as a gift. We assumed that it would be like a video game and imagined shooting each other down multiple times and just having a laugh with it.
However, it is much more than that.
The cockpit mock-ups are excellent and accurate to the real thing, which really gives one a better impression of how it must have felt to fly one of these aircraft than just a gaming console could have done.
The simulation is also extremely realistic as is the handling of the 'planes' and the best thing is that it is very difficult! Not at all like a video game. The plane has to be flown properly whilst trying to find and down your opponent; not at all easy. Even getting close enough to get in a few shots takes a lot of concentration and doesn't happen often.
This is by no means a criticism. This realism is what makes this experience enjoyable.
The session is managed by a very knowledgable member of staff who really knows not just the flying side of things but the history and technical details too.
Altogether an excellent experience which I highly recommend.

We do try to keep the experience as accurate as possible so everyone can get some sort of idea just what it was like to engage in airborne combat back in WW2. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it so much.

Oh what fun! Myself and a friend (both ex Squadron Leaders RAF - Ground Branch) did an hour of the Spitfire v Messerschmitt simulator and it was superb. Very realistic, especially the handling Characteristics of both aircraft and aided by the expert tuition and super-helpful Chris & Connor, we had almost a full hour of dog-fighting, swapping aircraft halfway. It was incredible, and we both loved it and I can’t recommend it enough.

We spent 2 hours on the spitfire flight. The tuition was excellent throughout the whole experience. We did take offs, landings and a dogfight which was very challenging. We very much enjoyed the experience it was great fun, would recommend to anyone. We were made welcome by the friendly team on arrival.

Does this simulator move when your flying it.

This is a fixed base simulator as used by the airline companies for 80% of their training.
Although it doesn't move, you do get the feeling you are moving due to the wrap around screens and the seats vibrate so you feel every bump on the runway and turbulence in the air.
