We hired scooters for a day to get around Stradbroke Island and see as much as possible at our own pace. We were given a clear map that guided us for the day. The service on pick up and return was smooth and the operators were lovely. We had a fabulous day exploring all of the sites and stopping off at all the local spots to enjoy what the island has to offer. We are so glad we hired these and spent the day laughing and enjoying the great outdoors. The local traffic was also very good even on some of the main roads where the scooters are clearly going much slower than the limit :)

Rented a scooter (roxy) for 3 days during the past weekend to drive around the island. I got picked up from the ferry straight away and we drove to the scooter place. Lovely man who helped with everything and such a nice way to go around the island. 65 dollars is a bit much but its cheaper than getting a car over, and you can park the scooter everywhere so the benefits definitely outway the cost. Would 100% do this again! :-)

I honestly would give 100 if I could. These guys are amazing! Getting around straddie on a scooter is the best way to see straddie if you don’t have a 4wd. It’s fun and really easy to navigate through the island.. the service is fantastic! We got picked up from the ferry terminal and dropped off when we were ready to go back. I even lost my ferry ticket at the shop and they came all the way to find me at the terminal to give it to me. Seriously these guys are the best! Can’t wait for our next adventure!

My boyfriend and I hired a couple of scooters for half a day after diving at Manta Lodge back in February and, it's gotta be said, it was probably the highlight of our Stradbroke adventure. Tony was incredibly friendly and accommodating, the scooters were in great condition and easy to drive and, honestly, for an island the size of Straddie, they were the perfect way to get around - comfy, convenient and lots of fun. What more could you want? 100% recommend.

Came to the island with a group of friends, Tony picked us up from the ferry point quickly after we called to book. Provided training for the scooters (which are a brilliant way to get to see the island) and even dropped us back at the ferry afterwards.

These guys were awesome from beginning to end. I would recommend them to anyone if you are confident of your scootering abilities. It's a fun way to get around the large island and access areas that the bus doesn't visit.

The best day ever! We were collected from the flyer and taken to the depot, where we were shown a safety video and given the opportunity to choose our scooters. We had a quick practice out in the car park which was super helpful (for an unbalanced rider like me). We were shown how to use the bikes, where to store our bags and the best spots to go on the island.
Our scooters were amazing and we had so much fun zipping around the island on them! We had them for a full day and returned them at 4.45 where we were then dropped back to the foyer, we had no issues with them and were sad to end the day! Customer service was 10/10. Thanks guys for an amazing day, we hope to come back again soon 🙂

Well you always wonder when you see so many reviews that are a full 5 stars if it can really be that good, but yes it is.
We made a last minute booking for four scooters, they were super friendly and so helpful. They arranged at no extra cost to meet us from the ferry and take us to the storage unit just a few minutes away (they also return you at the end of the day). We went through the routine visual and verbal guidance on health and safety and using the scooters. Two of us were completely new to riding a scooter but with instruction it was easy to pick up. The scooters were in extremely good condition and well maintained. Using the map and suggestions provided we headed off and had a fabulous day touring the island. The scooters performed perfectly, one member of the team was somewhat heavier than the others but the 50cc was adequate for him also. They are hoping to have more higher rated scooters in the future for those that wish to have something a little more suitable for heavier riders. The only problem that we incurred was opening the seats on the scooters to access the storage areas, it seems to be a bit of a knack.
It is definitely the best way to get round the island, you can go where you want when you want, so easy to park and great to be in the fresh air without having to pedal! Excellent service, what an amazing experience on a fantastic island.

Awesome experience on the scooters, very easy to work with and got us moving quick and cheap! Very fun (half) day out and would recommend hiring a scooter to bus or taxi services :)

We wanted to take a day tour from Brisbane and it was full. So we did it ourselves. Since we saved so much money getting there by train/bus, we decided to get these scooters for half a day. The scooter folks picked us up at the ferry (and returned us at the end). The scooters were in good shape and easy to ride. It is an excellent way to get to all the spots on the island. The bus only makes a few stops. When we left and mentioned we still hadn't seen a kangaroo, the owner drove us around to where he knew they'd be - and they were. Affordable way to go, excellent service.

You hire them for an all day price $75 I think, u can take them back anytime
