Gratitude for Mr Rai and the experience customising my suits. He came to my accommodation and we worked through the whole design there with the fabric samples on hand.
He then came back and we also did the fitting at the resort!
Then away he went for the finishing touches.
I've left Phuket with the most amazing customised suits and a long lasting friend and person I trust when I'm ready to get more done :)

Great customer service., easy to work with and great quality.. Been getting suits and shirts from Mr Rai for over 10 years.

Highly recommended - also perfectly fitted for bodybuilders!
I appreciated the good service and enjoy the good quality during meetings all around the globe - since the clothes keep perfectly fine even in suitcases.

I came here to work out at Tiger Muay Thai. And I lost 20 lbs. I decided to splurge on a custom suit by Rai Boss. So glad I did it was ready in a day and when I go home tomorrow I will go home looking like a million bucks. Thanks Rai!

Great taylor !
Initially i went there just to make some adjustments on an existing suit i had already with me, but decided to make 2 outstanding trousers, one shirt + an amazing winter wool coat to my wife.
We tried and we recommend!!!!!!!
Mr Rai and his wife Mrs Nok were very friendly and helpful with everything to make sure they would deliver on time and he delivered in person to our hotel :)))

Mr Rai tailored me a set of amazing shirts. Even though our flight was leaving in 1.5 days he managed to finish all of them with high quality.

What a wonderful experience with Mr Rai. He was so cordial and so precise in his masterfully great job!!! He went out of his way to really make us feel at home!!! HIGHLY recommend and what a great prize to take home a tailor made suit!!! Thanks Mr Rai!!! Trent and Andrea

Mr Rai is the G. OG. He’s an incredible tailor. His clothes are couture. Very hard to over estimate his brilliance.

Would not recommend at all.
It would have been nice if Mr Rai spent less time trying to upsell more pieces and more time listening to how I wanted the suit to actually fit..
His suits are overpriced for the quality, and honestly have had far better fits straight off the rack.
Firstly he comes across very friendly, albeit very unprofessional in his comments at times (bad-mouthing and generalising Indians for being frugal for eg), which made us uncomfortable given he has no idea who we are, nor who we are friends and colleagues with. He was also incredibly late for appointments, keeping us waiting hours for him at the hotel (7pm appointment where he showed after 9.30pm for eg).
To the suits:
The jacket is oversized around the chest, yet somehow tight under the arms, so is uncomfortable to wear for any length of time and manages to look saggy. The pants were like clown pants at first, he tried to say that was normal and helped with sitting down, obviously they were ridiculous though, so he agreed to get them taken in once we paid the full amount. They were still baggy and unflattering once 'fixed', but there was no time left to get any further tailoring done. He is very quick to say everything is a perfect fit, despite our thoughts to the contrary.
The materials for the suit matched the colour swatches provided, but the quality of the material was far lower and scratchy.
A complete waste of money, and not a small sum, as will now have to spend a substantial amount more to get it further tailored to wear, as look very unfitted and unflattering wearing the suit as it is. Have only worn the suits twice since purchase, and instead returned to wearing my off the rack suits which fit and look better.
The shirt material chosen was completely ignored and he just brought a completely different shirt, saying that it was better than what I chose...? Bizarre. The shirt was the only piece that did actually fit properly though, hence 2 stars and not 1.
Lastly, I asked to pay via credit card as I get better rates than via cash, he said this wasn't a problem until time came to pay and he couldn't work his payment machine, so had to then do multiple ATM withdrawals to give him cash.
Overall a very poor and frustrating experience, topped off by his badgering to provide a 5 star review online.

Best tailor in Phuket. We’ve bought serval garments including suits and business shirts and have ordered from Australia. Beautifully cut perfect fit. Love his attention to detail and finish.
