‪This temple is dedicated to Hindu deity - Kuteti Devi. It's located on top of Hari parvat which is at a distance of two kilometres from Uttarkashi. Apart from darshan and blessings of the deity, the place is very beautiful and people come here to enjoy the nature and spectacular views.‬

‪Away from the dirt of Uttarkashi, where evidence of "Swachh Bharat" is hardly palpable, the walk to Kutati Devi temple allows one to appreciate the true beauty of the city in its God-given setting. Tall mountains all around & meandering its' way through them the gushing Bhagirathi river with Uttarkashi spread on both banks & rising into the mountains. Reminded me of Interlaken but for the filth.‬

‪This is another of the ancient temples that dot the Uttarkashi valley. The temple is situated across the river from the town and is a short walk uphill across the walking bridge. It is interesting and peaceful. As often happens, many people claim a place and it gets divided with the old being neglected and new being center of attraction. Kuteti too has suffered the divisiveness of the society and a new garish marble edifice has come up behind the original temple. You can pick which one you wish to visit.‬

‪This is a nice excursion out of town, with a nice view of town. It will be very busy when the by-pass is finished and will go very near the temple. Here the family goddess of a Rajasthani Princess manifest in three aromatic stones. The princess had been married to a local brahmin, but she was lonely without her goddess, so Kuteti came to bless her, and remains here to this day.‬
