We were told of this olive producer from the information centre in Kissamos and drove up to check it out. We were not disappointed. Katrina our guide was such a lovely lady who showed passion and a true interest for her companies story. She took us through the process of the olive to the finished product. Educated us on the difference between olive oils and other products produced from the simple olive. It was such a lovely afternoon. Thank you Katrina and you’re partner whom we didn’t get here name for making it such a fantastic visit. From you’re Canadian guests .

Rigtig god oplevelse med forklaring fra når de høster til det færdige produkt. Hun forklare på engelsks, så det skal man selvføgelig kunne. Dog stadigvæk besøger værd selvom man ikke kan, også fint og have børn med

A few things first: check your satnav is accurate before setting off - ours assumed we could cut across mountain paths - which we didn’t. We saw some spectacular villages, but we were late for the tour we had booked
Parking is close by with a very steep ramp which is a bit tricky for the less mobile.
The free tour is informative and useful in the basics and you also get free bread & oil tasting.
The restaurant makes this place - for €25 per person you are served an 8 course tasting menu in the most phenomenal setting. The staff are thoughtful, friendly & well informed and the food was superb too!
We couldn’t keep track of how much food was served as we were having such a great time. Their wines are also great.
We all love to dine out, but this dining experience really is special - location, ingredients & staff - I cannot recommend a visit more highly!

This region is absolutely beautiful! Every turn offers new vistas and magnificent scenery. We rented a car for driving in Crete and were so happy that we did. The roads were well maintained and driving through the mountains on Crete was an awesome experience.

Authentic olive oil producer - excellent taste. Take a tour with the enthusiastic guide telling you what you need to know when it comes to cold pressed virgin olive oil.
The small shop sells olives and oils.

Our family had a great tour of the production facility and process of making olive oil. Our British tour guide was very entertaining and fun. The views at the estate are incredible and we took many photos after our tour. They have a store where you can buy olive oil, soaps, olive wood trays and spoons and many other gifts. There is also a charming restaurant for lunch after tours. Reserve tour in advance by email.

Wir haben diesen Astrikas Estate Biolea besucht, um das gelobte Restaurant zu besuchen, aber auch Oliven-Öl zu testen. Die im Restaurant bestellten Gerichte waren wirklich traumhaft, alles frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Auch eine selbst gemachte, frische Limonade war ein Gedicht. Zum Abschluss haben wir auch die unterschiedlichen Olivenöle, eines versetzt mit Zitrone, gekauft, die in Deutschland als Mitbringsel hervorragen angekommen sind. Einen Besuch, insbesondere auch wegen der idyllischen An- und Abfahrt, ist wirklich zu empfehlen.

Absolutely stunning place! The food was the highlight here, the bruschetta, cheesecake snd Greek coffee are up there with the best things I’ve ever eaten! We did the free tour and tasting which was really interesting and worthwhile. The lady leading the tour was lovely as was the English lady who spent some time helping my husband understand why his olive trees on top of our West Yorkshire moor might not thrive too well!
We purchased some olive oil to bring home and have shared it family and friends. I could go on about this place all day but it really is incredible and a real ‘must’ visit on Crete.

Chouette visite d'environ 1 heure en anglais sur la production d'huile d'olive bio avec une dégustation au final.
Si vous êtes dans la région, je vous recommande également le restaurant après la dégustation !
