membawa anak2 untuk mengunjungi museum satwa, karena mengunjungi dihari biasa jadi didalam museum sangat sepi, dan anak2 sangat tertarik untuk mempelajari hewan2

for some reason, it was the extended version of batu secret zoo which you can compare for the preserved and the living one (of course not all)

Museum satwa – its about animals stuffed in the museum. May took 2 hrs to complete. lots of Photo spot for good memory. good for kids to learn about animals

Museum Satwa (Wildlife Museum) is located in Jawa Timur Park 2 complex along with the Batu Secret Zoo and Sweet Memories Selfie. While Batu Secret Zoo hosts actual living animals, Wildlife Museum hosts preserved animals set in big dioramas and categorized according to the groups like insects, mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. There are also actual fossils here and there.
The museum is indoor and I heard that it's usually cool with the AC but it was quite crowded and can be a bit hot. The display is amazing with realistic background and setup. The collection is really big especially the insects with the butterflies, beetles, etc. A really nice museum to look around and learn more about animals.

After visited batu secred zoo, we visited the museum satwa. It was great! The collections was awsome. Well managed, clean and very organized. It's far far beyond the museum zoology in bogor. Thanks to jatim park group for making this museum. Keep it up.

Museum ini berada di dalam Kawasan batu Secret Zoo atau jatim Park II di Kota Batu Provinsi Jawa Timur. Berada sekitar 1,5 jam dari Bandara Abdurrahman Saleh Malang atau 1 jam dari Stasiun/Terminal Kota malang. Koleksi satwanya cukup lengkap dari mulai satwa endemik Indonesia sampai satwa Afrika, dari mamalia besar sampai serangga. pas buat Edukasi untuk anak anak dan menambah wawasan tentang satwa

Tempat enak diruangan berac jd g perlu panas2an,koleksi binatang2 yg diawetkan. Koleksi banyak jenisnya, ada pertunjukan edukasi jg saat jam2 tertentu didalam museum saat ke sana pas weekend.
