We had a Wonderful experience at Hattingley Valley Vinyard and to learn the progress of making excellent wine. Our tour guide made us very welcome and he explained in a language we could understand what is required in making excellent wine.
Our only regret is that we had not chosen the summer months to have seen the vines, and we should have arranged for a chauffeur, to fully enjoy the wine tasting, in saying that we enjoyed what we sampled.
Hope to arrange a visit next year with our car club.

A very informative and interesting tour. Friendly and relaxed. An improvement suggestion would be providing small amounts food to complement the various wines.

An excellent tour and tasting with a knowledgeable and informative guide. There is a little bit of walking and it was very warm when we visited but the cool winery was a welcome respite and there was plenty of tasting to look forward to. We have been on various different vineyard tours and they all have something different to offer, this was a good one.

Excellent afternoon spent at hattingley valley. The wine tour manager(David) was excellent as was the 8 time. Very knowledgeable and enjoyable tour.

David the tour manager was really informative and made the whole visit a great experience. The tour explained the wine making process, the different types of wine and showed the visitors the on site equipment. The tour did not include a visit to the vineyard where the grapes were growing. It finished with wine tasting samples of four types of wine. A very enjoyable afternoon.

Discovered Hattingley at the New Forest Show, we sat in the shade and had a couple of glasses of their rose wine (we ventured in to actually get out of the sun and sit somewhere decent !) but the wine was fabulous and the young chap serving was very knowledgable and enthusiastic - trip to their vineyard is definitely on the cards as is some wine to enjoy at home

An enjoyable tour and tasting with the highlight being David who was great - plenty of energy and very knownagasble.
The tasting takes place in a bright airy tasting room and David kicked off with the history of Hattingley. It was then off to tour the winery (you dont get to walk the vineyards as they are located a couple of miles away).
Following the tour its back to the tasting room to taste 4 of their wines (Classic, Rose, Blanc de Blancs & still rose) which, for us, were ok but everyone's tastes are different. You have the opportunity to buy the wines - some are only available at the winery but the more popular wines (i.e. Classic) you will find in Waitrose and at more competitive prices.
An enjoyable couple of hours and a big thanks to David for making the tour / tasting so interesting.

Great, informative tour by David on Mother's Day and the generous wine tastings were excellent. A great experience so local to where we live

Hattingley Valley is located in Lower Wield, near Alresford (Hampshire, UK).
We do accept groups but please contact us to discuss a bespoke package designed specifically for your group.
