I called from Cape Breton to buy a friend a present and Karen was so helpful with this. I highly recommend shopping at this wonderful and interesting establishment.

The store is a great place to find great unique gifts or treasures for your home. The staff are warm and welcoming, even sharing local sites to see with us!

We always take the time to have a look when we’re in the area. It’s small and rustic, but the merchandise is all good quality. Beautiful glass, wood, stone & metal work.

Such a very cool shop if your looking for them one of a kind gifts for yourself or someone else. We go every year while at the cottage and i always buy something for someone for xmas.
Some stuff can be a little pricey but it authentic and original and wont find it unless you are out that way.

At least once a year we have reason to find that little special and unique gift, either as a wedding present or hostess gift. We can always count on finding the prefect something at this lovely log cabin in the woods.

Fabulous Canadian made craft and beautiful gifts. They even have a most fantastic art gallery.

I'm delighted that you like the gallery and, as you point out, there is so much to explore and do within 15 minutes of the gallery: Oxtongue Rapids, Ragged Falls, Dorset Lookout Tower and Heritage Museum and Dwight Beach to name a few. 2017 is going to be a banner season with many new artisans. The Oxtongue Craft Cabin is a treasure....very comfortable environment, full of gifts to use at your cottage, at your home in the City, or as a tasteful and unusual gift for a friend. The owner has a terrific sense of style and imagination; so many of the items are hand-crafted and made in Canada. Prices are fair.
