Extensive range of chocolate products with personalised gift wrapping, ribbons printed with recipients name etc. Not cheap but quality never is!

nice little shop. friendly staff. lots of choice of chocolates, which helps when choosing chocolates as gifts for people of all ages.

Truffles has been our chocolate shop of choice since it opened a couple of years ago. With a wide variety of carefully selected, quality products to cater for everyone from the occasional eater to the chocolate connoisseur, including those with dietary requirements (gluten free, etc available), Truffles is well worth the 40 mile round trip we make to visit. The service is always impeccable, the quality of product exceptional and the prices more than reasonable.
A local man running a local shop with integrity and community focus- quite simply don't buy your chocolate elsewhere, it won't be a spot on what the experience of buying your chocolate from Truffles.

These are the best chocolates I have ever tasted, with a huge variety to choose from and reasonably priced. The owner is friendly and knowledgable about his products, I would definitely recommend travelling to this location just to visit this shop. In my opinion they are better than Fortnum & Masons famous chocolates!

Well to begin with, this is the best selection of chocolate in County Durham, from lolly pops to designer shoes, this shop has everything! When I went to the shop I got all my present gifted wrapped and they even came with the most wonderful personalised ribbon, I can't wait to go back soon. I hope I get one of those delicious chocolate pizzas for my birthday, it would be much better than a cake. If you are a chocolate lover this is the perfect shop for you!
