我是不知道第幾次來海生館，但是只要來，就算一天我也很高興，光是魟魚就讓我大開眼界，那裡還有鯊魚!企鵝也超可愛!還有白鯨真是可愛到我都想摸牠了呢!

It is located in a bit remote. The public transportation is limited. The admission is NT$250 each for senior. You can see the design and layout is excellent. The various aquarium is well maintained. If you are not a marine biologist you might find those swimming in the tank not that special except the penguins show are very outstanding.

除門票有點貴，這裡是親子同遊，海洋教育的好地方。海生館共分台灣水域館、珊瑚王國館、世界水域館及鯨典館四個展示館，以及特展區定期舉辦特展。還有後場可以安排參觀， 不過又要+錢， 可以買年票。

This is perhaps not a bad place to visit (although the poor beluga BADLY needs a friend, and something should be done about it ASAP), but the “sleepover” offer that they have is a total waste of time, money, and emotions. There will be no “romantic sleep by the fish tanks”, in case this is how imagine it. Yes, you might get a spot near a fish tank, but you’ll share the (relatively small) sleeping space with 40 other people, sleep on very thin mattresses, and this won’t be romantic at all. The food is pretty bad, and the “activities” involve visiting the area above the fish tanks (it looks just like a factory), and spending an hour on an empty shore. The chances that you will really enjoy this trip are really low.
Returning to the exhibition, also the land-locked salmon tank is apparently filled with OTHER fish species (since the salmon is too threatened). See the pic.

國立海洋生物博物館是喜歡海洋生物者的天堂和知識寶庫，最近有來墾丁都會來參觀，每次都有新發現新的收穫，一天的時間不太夠，這裡有夜宿海生館的活動，可以此好好體驗了解海生館。

The aquarium is wonderful. I could not give it a five though because while there is an exhibit about the harm caused by plastic in the ocean, they have shops that sell everything in plastic containers making themselves part of thee problem. Really they should be showing how things can be done without the plastic.

Thankfully it was the week before the holidays here. There weren’t as many people so we can really relax and enjoy each exhibit. I was impressed with the amount of thought and funds to go into each display. There were many interactive exhibits for young and old which in a joyful way taught as well. The restaurants offered were relaxing as well as quick it’s available. Walking out to the water was connective to whole ambience of the park. Well done. I would recommend it.

來到墾丁旅遊不可錯過海生館，跟基隆那個完全沒有水的海科館不同，想看海洋生物，來海生館就對了，有公車可抵達，停車場很大，門票450元，有多種優待票可買，進館前有大片空間可以活動，還有戲水池，夏天光玩水就可以玩的很開心。
進到場館內主要分三部分，一個世界水域要走到另一頭，從那看出去是無敵海景，場館內不可錯過招牌海底隧道，海草森林，還有企鵝館，白鯨也非常獨特，用一般速度，差不多要半天的時間，符合現代動物保護趨勢，沒有動物表演，這是跟國外其他水族館不一樣的地方。
整體來說十分滿意，要說最大缺點，就是館內餐食相當差勁，評價惡名昭彰，一流的海生館，三流的餐飲品質，無法得到滿分，是比較可惜的地方。

好幾年沒來國立海洋生物博物館了，海生館於民國89年開館至今已20年，仍然深受歡迎，這裡是親子同遊，海洋教育的好地方。海生館共分台灣水域館、珊瑚王國館、世界水域館及鯨典館四個展示館，以及特展區定期舉辦特展。我特別喜愛世界水域館裡的企鵝和海鸚鵡。

I assumed this was just for kids to splash in the fountain pools but I was surprised to see great tunnels of fish and jellyfish and marine mammals and English signage.

How much the entrance fee for each person?

I paid NTD450 for adults (tourist) and NTD250 for students at ticket counter. U can check online for cheaper fare

Where is your exact location? If you are going from Kentish park to long pan, you can take bus #8249. However, it will take you an hour or more. Suggest you to take taxi or rent the bike. It will take you 20 minutes. Or there is always local tour you can buy. You may also want to check your hotel if any shuttle bus which the price is also reasonable. Hope I answer your question.
