Located at the Southern end of the coastline Eluanbi lighthouse, and its adjacent park is an essential visit if staying in the area. The lighthouse itself has no public entry but there is a small exhibition room giving information although nothing is in English. Adjacent to the lighthouse there is a small park with several walking routes which includes great observation points overlooking the ocean. Very good signable within the park. There are toilets at the entrance and a number of market stalls selling food, clothing and jewellery. A further 15 minute walk from here but outside the park takes you to Taiwan’s southernmost point. This involves going back to the Eluanbi entry point as the gate which would have provided a short cut was locked. A visit with a walk around the park takes about two hours.

- From entrance to lighthouse, there is quite a walking distance (no shelter, so do bring a hat or an umbrella).
- In the park there are vending machines selling drinks and a shop selling both drinks and souvenir.
- Not a must-visit if you are rushing for time.

Von Kenting aus fährt ein Bus zum Leuchtturm - allerdings unregelmäßig, so dass wir ein Taxi genommen haben - 300TD. Der Eintritt zum Lechtturm kostet 60 TD pP. Man läuft durch einen Park bis zum Leuchtturm. ER ist hübsch anzusehen. In der Umgebung stehen noch ein zwei Skulpturen, die wie Erdnüsse aussehen. Es führt noch ein Weg zum Meer und es gibt zwei kleine Shops mit Souvenirs usw.
Wir wollten direkt vom Leuchtturm zum südlichsten Punkt von Taiwan, aber es waren alle Wege gesperrt.

Eluanbi Lighthouse is the southern most point of Taiwan. It is in the South China Sea, it is the last point between Taiwan and the Philipppines. It's known as "the Light of East Asia" because it's the brightest lighthouse in Taiwan. Eluanbi Lighthouse is worth a look if you are visiting Kenting National Park.

進燈塔路線變好短，燈塔導覽室雖然沒開放，但是很好拍照，只是有遊客一直拍不讓別人拍是美中不足，天氣很熱要注意防曬

There are numerous food sellers here who sell real bad tastings food here. Lavatories are not clean. Water is not warm compared to other places in Taiwan.

來到墾丁去鵝鑾鼻燈塔大概是必去行程，可坐公車，自行開車停車場完備，入場要門票，不貴，裡面有大片優美草皮，配上白色燈塔，藍天白雲，還挺不錯的，也可走小路到海邊賞景，一個不錯的景點，但入口真的很糟糕，因為施工圍籬搭的亂糟糟，無數的商家擠在一塊，難得的五星景點，因為這醜陋門面，瞬間只能給三星，十分可惜。

Kenting has a lot of beautiful seas,so if you like to play in the water you must go there!The weather in Kenting is hot.If you don’t like the sunshine,you can’t go there in summer.Kenting Street has a lot of delicious food and drinks.There are also a lot of people,so you need to wear a mask to protect yourself and prevent virus.Finally,Kenting is worth a visit.You can choose four days to have your relax trip!There are also a lot of beautiful guesthouses.I think you don’t need to choose the expensive hotel.Hope these suggestions can help you.

This might sound like a really stupid question, but i am very confused about this. Is the Eluanbi park a park by itself or it is inside Kenting national park? Would appreciate if you could reply me! Thank You very much!

Eluanbi Park is a park within the bigger Kenting National Park, which covers almost the whole southern tip of Taiwan (the Hengchun Peninsula). There is no general entrance fee for Kenting Natonal Park, but each sight within it has its separate entrance fee (Eluanbi, Jialeshuei, Kenting Forest Recreation Park, Chuhuo Nature Fire).
