I had the most wonderful tour with Alex. I booked two days for solo travel: one day at the Taroko gorge and the other to explore the eastern coast.
Alex accommodated to all of my requests in making the travel flexible, accommodating, and made it incredibly entertaining. On top of exploring all the destinations, he gave me wonderful recommendations on where I should go in hualien city; when I asked for suggestions on where I could find breakfast stalls (I couldn’t find any near my hostel), he even picked me up earlier than the designated pickup time to stop by the local stands to make sure that I got what I needed.
I didn’t have the best luck with the weather on my last day to explore the east coast, but Alex drove around to navigate around the weather the best we could and even brought towels to make sure that I stayed dry in the process.
I had a drone with me and it took a bit of time for me in each spot for me to get the footage that I wanted, so I really appreciated Alex’s patience during this process. I would recommend the company to anyone visiting hualien. My two days in hualien will surely be the highlight of my trip in Taiwan.

Jason, our tour guide, was extremely professional, pleasant, knowledgeable. He was able to accommodate to our needs (as I was travelling with elderly parents) and remained patient throughout. He made the strong effort to show us many interesting and beautiful sights at the Gorge. Would definitely recommend this to others to try this tour!

The Tarako Gorge is very majestic. Our guide was Chester, he did a good job taking care of us during the whole trip. He is very knowledgeable, gave us a lot of historical info about the place. He is also very knowledgeable about plants. We enjoyed the hike very much. Thanks Chester.

We had a great time with our guide Jimmy! He was knowledgeable, friendly and proactive. He was considerate of our pacing and adjusted the tour accordingly. We had such a lovely day with beautiful weather at Taroko Gorge, and would certainly recommend this tour and Jimmy heartily. Thank you!

Taroko Gorge is majestic and made that much more remarkable with a wonderful guided tour with Jason. He was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and greatly enhanced my experience. Jason is passionate about being a tour guide and showing travelers the best of not only this natural wonder but the hospitality and friendliness that makes Taiwan special. Highly recommended.

The day in Takoro was great. Alex, our guide, was knowledgeable, pleasant, entertaining & patient. He also was a great interlocutor to give us a perspective on Taiwanese life - and afterwards, he extended the tour to take us to a Buddhist volunteer foundation & a brief tour of downtown Hualien. All-in-all, wonder.

Ivan, our tour guide is very professional, lovely and friendly. We are so fortunately to have him as our tour guide.This is the most beautiful and amazing private tour we have ever had. We will highly recommend Ivan to our friends to have private tours with him in Taroko national Park. Thank you Ivan! Hope we will come back soon!

Fantastic tour guide. He is extremely enthusiastic, speaks perfect English, allows you to customize the trip to your preferences, and takes you on experiences that are not accessible to other groups. He is so knowledgeable, and I learned a lot! Highly highly recommend! Thank you so much!

We had Ivan as our tour guide. He was very enthusiastic about his town and knew a great deal about the area. We would highly recommend him if you want an in depth tour of Taroko Gorge.

Awesome trip around Taroko! Alex was a very thoughtful and informative guide, often suggesting places for photo ops and giving history on the Gorge and area. He picked us up from our airbnb and it was smooth sailing from there. Even kind enough to let us play our music as we drove around! He split up the day quite well too, with some scenic places in the morning, broken up by a lunch and then two final trails.
