On October 20, 2024, participating in the Taipei Electric Employee Family Day again to tour the Kuku Cultural Village, Kuku Cultural Village tickets, in addition to play and entertainment facilities also include taking the Kuku cable car in the Kuku Cultural Village, and the Kuku cable car to the Sun Moon Tang. A few years ago, the Kyushu cable car was in the cherry blossom season, and the view of the whole pink cherry forest is beautiful. When the weather is good, the view of the sunny mountain is another beauty. And the Sun Moon Tang cable station to the Ida Shao shopping district, there is a good way to walk around the lake and not too hot, it is also a pleasure, worth the ride.

Bought EasyPass, SML Boat and Ropeway E-Vouchers together via KLOOK while on the THSR on the way to Taichung & Nantou to ensure the weather is agreeable.
Extremely easy to purchase, claim, use and cheaper too!
Be sure to grab breakfast at the Taichung THSR station (If you came from an early trip from Taipei like we did) before going to SML/Nantou since the bus arrival and ride will take awhile.
Enjoyed the scenery on the way up to the mountain/lake.
The lake was beautiful and serene, and since it was a Tuesday in December the weather was pleasant and the ferry, temple and ropeway was not too crowded.
Love the breeze while on the ferry and on the extremely high cable car.
Expect long walks and allocate sufficient time esp if you booked a THSR ticket on thebway back to Taipei.
P.S.
Exchange your E-voucher at the Ticket booth located at the left side of the SUN MOON LAKE PIER before going down the dock. (Left side, opppsite the elevator)

We got in a car with a window in the floor. Great decision! We saw monkeys below us!!! Extremely pretty scenery even in the fog.

Very cool experience. You go super high on the mountain with great views of Sun Moon Lake. Make sure to get a green car (crystal class) so that you have a glass floor and can look down, it's super cool!

The ride itself was ok, but when we arrived at the top station it showed that an awful lot of buses with school classes drive up. And they all take the ropeway down. It resulted in a very long waiting time for the ride back to the lake. So you better check at the counter whether they expect a lot of school classes for the ride.

搭纜車把窗打開，便能從空中體驗到日月潭的4D美景,鐵定值回票價。挑個平常日（也許能幸運買到優惠票），跟心愛的人一起悠哉地搭乗水晶纜車（綠色），來回各10幾分鍾的旅程，值得！

從伊達邵碼頭旁的纜車站搭乘,翻越山頭到達<九族文化村>,
2022年2月搭乘日月潭纜車,含入園套票(可以玩遊樂設施、搭九族纜車)為900元,
纜車有四色,僅綠色為廂底透明的水晶纜車,其餘紅、黃、藍為ㄧ般車廂,
沿途翻越二座山頭,終點站出口即為九族文化村入口,
俯瞰沿途景色極美,山景、湖景,湖光山色美不勝收~

A must do in Sun Moon Lake, the views are both astonishing and break-taking. The rides are also enjoyable with stable speed and comfortable sitting. The crystal cable cart with crystal ground to view under the feet are playful too.

Very good views of sun moon lake area . We visited in March when cherry blossoms at the carpark was in full bloom!
But there was nothing at the other side as we weren’t interested in Formosa village. Just once is enough !

You can just go information Centre in Taichung then you can buy the tickets from it.
